The spring mechanism on the side is extremely stiff. It takes an adult using two thumbs to push down the lever. ### ⭐ Horrible purchase. Not worth the price. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2018* Product arrived broken and mechanism for dumping trash into truck flies so quickly it throws the garbage can across the room. Definitely not like the video displayed. I would return this item in a heartbeat but my son cannot part ways with it after giving it to him on Christmas. Very disappointing because I thought in spending the extra money I was getting a better quality product. ### ⭐ this thing is made very cheap *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2019* the plastic were ben goes is so cheap make it will not pick up the trash can I wish I could send it back but my grandopen it up and is playing with it any way. not worth much more than $5.00 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/85750420-shandp-children-garbage-truck-kids-toys-inertia-sanitation-truck-garbage](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/85750420-shandp-children-garbage-truck-kids-toys-inertia-sanitation-truck-garbage) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
