The Greatest Mystery in the World Mass Market Paperback – February 28, 1998

Of Mandino is my favorite author for a reason. His use of Christian beliefs and narratives are woven into principles of success. It is for this cause I will keep all of his writings at the top of my must read list.

“The Greatest Success” is full of deep and meaningful reflections about Life, love, happiness. It’s a great short story for anyone to read and often and especially as an excellent “compass” reset for someone who is needing guidance in their life’s direction and/or chasing the dream of mere wealth.Prescription: Read it at least once every 3 or 4 years. This book claims to distill "the greatest books about success" and even provide readers with a "blueprint for success". If that were the case, this book would be great. But it ain't. I have discovered through my mistakes that success must include intuition and the cooperation of the subconsciousness. This book does not teach you how to develop your intuition, nor does it tell you how to give suggestions to your subconsciousness so that it works alongside you and not against you. Even Steven Spielberg, Steve Jobs and Dan Pena praise intuition! These are just two examples that are not included in this book. What I did like was the urgency to use the opportunities in your own backyard. In short, this book is too incomplete and may lead people on the wrong track.In my opinion, the best books about success have not yet been written. But these may help:  Serial Winner , The Perfect Day Formula  and  7 Strategies for Wealth & Happiness: Power Ideas from America's Foremost Business Philosopher .

The ten commandments of success are built in a wonderful story. A master and his 'student' friend. A book that is written to inspire everyone and anyone.

Must read everyone should. It will help you look at your inner self and understand what is really important giving

Probably one of the most 3 influential books that I have ever bought in my life. The knowledge and wisdom that comes from a form least expected is astounding. The fact that it is a true story makes it that much greater. I keep it close by for when I need those reminders about how to get where I want to be. It's one of those books that you should refer to often. :o)

A story with a positive ending, promotes thought and suggest tools to remain calm through the storms of life.

I had read Og Mandino's "The Greatest Salesman in the World" before, and this one lived up to and exceeded my expectations. In a memorable parable, Mandino captures the essence of what it takes to be a success at life- integrity, diligence, intelligence, and compassion. Like the Greatest Salesman, Mandino's language is soft yet powerful. Thoroughly entertaining and insightful, this book is a must-read for people looking to better their own lives.
