I will say though, I ordered these Thinning shears in August of 2014, That's a year and a half ago. I am also a professional dog groomer and use these thinning shears every day, and have only ever needed to have them sharpened once, and that was a year after purchase. They are durable, beautiful, the are the perfect length for finessing haircuts on all breeds and hair textures. The angle of the finger rest is perfect and not much pressure is needed to bulk thin. Initially when I saw the price I assumed the quality would be substandard, but here we are a year and a half later and these shears work just as good as day one.
