Novomates Yerba Mate Kit - Double Wall Glass Mate with Steel Bombilla - Yerba Mate Gourd and Tea Cup - 8.4 oz

After reading reviews, I was concerned about one that mentioned broken glass and contacted the seller. They explained that they added a vent hole at the bottom of the glass to let the hot air out. I ended up buying the set because they offer a no hassle return policy, and I'm glad I did. It's beautifully made, and I've been using it for a while now without any problems. I've been drinking mate for 30 years, and drinking out of this glass mate set is just as good as drinking out of a traditional gourd with the huge bonus of cleanliness. After some months or years, you sometimes wonder what might be growing inside your traditional gourd. This glass set eliminates that issue. It is just perfect, gourd and straw.

Very happy with this Mate Gourd. The photos on Amazon don't do it justice. It feels really good when you hold it and the outside stays cool because of the double wall construction. The bomba (straw) is also beautiful and of good quality. I did not get a bunch of tea leaves in my mouth while sipping my Mate with the bomba. If I could change anything I would make the Gourd just a little bit bigger. This is just my personal preference and will not affect your Yerba Mate sipping enjoyment using this Gourd.

I don’t know why, but I just don’t really like it

Definitely the right size with a cool look and I like to drink from a glass where I can see what's inside. It is comfortable to hold and easy to clean. The bombilla straw is also high quality and modern design. Happy with my purchase!

Its cool till everything in the world knocks it over. Its way to round shaped and if you even accidently breathe on it, it will roll around all over the place causing a mate mess. I have never in my life knocked over a cup this many times and I'm not even a clumsy person.

This is the first Yerba Mate tea set I've purchased and I really like it! The other cups looked like they would be very hard to clean. I also like how the design of the cup makes it easy to touch and does not get too hot.

Cheap quality. It’s fine.

Me encantó cuando lo recibí, se ve tan lindo como en la foto, pero luego de usarlo 3 veces comencé a notar líquido por dentro y noté que se le había despegado la goma que trae por debajo. Intenté secarlo, pero luego le coloqué café (porque tenía la duda de si el agua entró por abajo o por dentro) y confirmé que se estaba filtrando cuando el café comenzó a gotear por debajo de la parte interna. No conseguí ninguna grieta, pero en cualquier caso, perdió la magia cuando se llenó de líquido por dentro y lo tiré. Para mí fue un gusto desechable, no vale la pena.
