It is a perfectly good item. Very reasonably priced. The only problem was that the bulbs have a fairly soft and warm light. Might be better as a night light. Looks great when other lights are off. Maybe the effect is lessened as the star is white, so doesn't have much contrast against the bulbs.

This light is just what I have been looking for. My husband who has Vascular Dementia struggles to find our en suite at night and is constantly trying to get into the fitted wardrobes. I was looking for a light to guide him but he didn’t want a bright light. Not possible to use a touch light. No electricity in bathroom. This light with it’s battery is just right. Not too bright, can be positioned anywhere and provides a small glow. Very pleased with this light.

Looks great in my boys room. Not too bright. Easy to use and not too heavy on batteries.

Loved the star light, nice and light weight for my little girls room however the battery section is really flimsy and the ‘off’ switch doesn’t work, so the light flickers dim not off!

Looks lovely as a decoration. Our one arrived with the on/off switch not working, however easy to fix by removing one battery when not in use. Other than that, looks great as a decoration

I purchased these lights in 2019 for around £7.95. Although not used regularly it still works 3 years later. Would have been great if the model came with a remote control. Lovely warm light in any room and location.

Our local churches were holding a “Put Yourself in the Picture” event at our local village Christmas-Lights-On fair. This was to be set up like a nativity stable scene in Bethlehem and as they were short on numbers Duncurin and spouse offered to pitch in. To adorn the ‘stable’ we needed some lights and the recently reviewed Moroccan lanterns were ideal. We also needed a Bethlehem Star to adorn the front. I saw this light up star on Amazon and it was delivered overnight. It’s the perfect size and it’s also easy to mount on the front of the stable. Lighting is via two batteries, not supplied, but given these, the LED lights that adorn the front aspect of the star stayed lit all day. Please note, in full sun the light is not bright enough to make much of an impact but as the day wore on and the sun descended then the lights came into their own and provided the extra touch that we were looking for. I had made a shooting star element from foam board adorned with a blue and white LED strip light but this was thought to be a bit too ‘blingy’ for Bethlehem and we went with just the star. All in all, everything came together very nicely and together with the costumes whereby people could dress up as Mary, Joseph, Wise Men and so on the event was very popular and so many had pictures taken on their mobiles that will form a focal part of their Christmas. This star is a great size for desks or nightstands, great accent for a child’s or teens room and great for holidays. Beautiful lighting. Will but more to use in other rooms. Also can sit on desks or tables or hang on the wall. My daughter loves it!
