This newer edition is easier to read and has good color photos for plant ID, etc. Good organization of topics. Excellent Index and follow up with large section on various vegetable plants. Specific instructions on how many plants/seeds go in each square for optimal harvest. Would recommend this book strongly if you are interested in getting into raised bed gardening. And if you already garden in containers or raised beds, this book might give you some ideas to expand your garden. Review: Four Stars - was what I expected
