No issues using it one handed. I bought this specifically for aged high end Pu-erh tea. The flavor is exquisite, really makes a smooth flavorful cup. It looks really good on display as well. Vey happy with the purchase value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little tea pot, but difficult to use 1 handed. *by A***R on April 6, 2021* I bought this to make black tea and it has been excellent for that. It holds 1 large mug worth of tea at a time and brews very well. My 2 complaints, and the only things that prevent it from being 5 star, is that it has a habit of spilling a small amount in the beginning and if you don't hold the lid down and back or down and forward a slight bit then it will create an air seal that prevents it from pouring.
