What is there to say? It's generic "Benadryl"
These anti-histamines have been around for almost ever. Do they work? Yes, and surprisingly well for me. I have to use an arsenal of products just to have some semblance of a normal day with the way my eyes have become so sensitized to whatever stays in the air here in Sacramento. It used to be a long time ago my eyes only occasionally bothered me a few times during the time of year that everything was blooming. But over the years the watering of my eyes has slowly escalated so that at times I have trouble actually seeing clearly much of the year. Yes, I've seen a number of doctors, including an ophthalmologist. The most they could find was that my eyes had some mild evidence of having been abraded, which didn't surprise me at all, considering how often it's necessary for my to dry my eyes with a soft handkerchief so that I can see my way through my day. The ophthalmologist recommended I use an OTC eye drop formulation to help keep my eyes "wet." The ophthalmologist's explanation was that my eyes were too "dry" and so my body was over-compensating by flooding my eyes with tears. I couldn't believe what she was telling me because it sounded to me like: "Okay, so your car is going too fast, so to fix that you need to speed up!" Really doc? My "excessive tearing" is due to my eyes being too dry? So where do the anti-histamines come in? Well, I found that using generic "Benadryl" combined with generic "Flonase" combined with generic "Olopatadine" eye drops has brought me the closest I've been to have a "normal" day with my eyes. With this routine I occasionally have entire days when my eyes don't run like the bathroom faucet, many days when my eyes only mildly flood with tears, and then a few days when it doesn't seem to make any difference what I do. Compared to using eye drops to "wet" my wet eyes, I'll keep taking the generic anti-histamines. It really saves money over buying any of the name brands!

No more runny nose!
In my old age, I have developed allergies that leave me with a miserable runny nose, ears that are plugged so I cannot hear, eyes that water, and sneezing and coughing! This generic form of Benadryl is just great for me. I understand that some people do not get the same reaction, but that is rare. Since in my younger years I was an RN, I do understand that generic drugs are nearly always an exact copy of the trade-name drug - the basic "recipe" is exactly the same but other things may be added which can make it just somewhat different. My allergies are kept controlled. The price is outstanding! In this form, I get 100 tabs for $2.50 but Benadryl would be $8.00 or more for 100 tabs if ordered from Amazon. Quite a difference in price for the same effects!

It works!
I've been using this product for several years and it's still very effective. We get a lot of wind on the Oregon Coast and there is pine dust everywhere, so keeping this product on hand is a must! I've never had any problems with it at all.
