This hair mask really does smell just like birthday cake! The jar is big, so it should last for awhile. It is a creamy mask and it will leave your hair feeling soft, manageable, and healthy. (and frizz-free, too!) It is on the pricey side, but every once in awhile, it's okay to splurge and do something nice for yourself. You won't regret it!

I always stock up on Briogeo's Vanilla Birthday Cake hair mask whenever it comes back in stock or goes on sale. I prefer this scent over the original. It reminds me a lot of Sol de Janeiro's Bum Bum Cream (that warm salted caramel and golden pistachio vibe), but wrapped in layers of vanilla cake and topped with a rich, homemade buttercream. As a gourmand girlie, it smells incredible to me. The mask itself is very rich and nourishing, so I avoid my oily-prone roots and keep it focused on my lengths and ends. It does an amazing job of smoothing and softening my dry, color-treated lengths of hair. My hair is fine, but this doesn't weigh it down at all when I keep it off the scalp. It leaves my hair feeling noticeably stronger, silkier, and more hydrated, with my split ends looking sealed and less frizzy. The vanilla scent lingers lightly in my hair after rinsing and drying, and it's creamy and comforting vanilla, but not overpowering. Overall, this is one of my favorite deep conditioning masks, and the birthday cake scent just makes me happy, along with the cute, limited edition packaging. I pray that they eventually make a chocolate cake scented mask as well.

This is an excellent hair mask. I love it because it truly helps repair damaged hair and makes it look healthier over time. The only downside is that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling very soft immediately after use, but it definitely does its job when it comes to repairing and strengthening the hair.

I bought this on the advice of ChatGPT while trying to revamp my haircare routine, because I honestly have not been taking care of my hair properly for a number of years. I had never heard of this brand before, but I bought it to use as a deep conditioner with my heat cap. Let me tell you, this thing has my hair feeling so soft after I condition. I use one of the PURA D’OR shampoos before conditioning, and I find the shampoo can leave my hair feeling a little dry. But after using this for about 20 minutes with my heat cap, I am amazed at how much moisture and softness it puts back into my hair. This really does what I needed it to do. I will definitely buy it again.

I have 3c/4a the curls. I bought this product a few months ago and was looking for something to repair some damage. I saw a little of a difference but to be honest, you can get way better products for cheaper prices. Even my at home oil treatments I make myself work better. I will say, it leaves my hair veryyyy soft and smooth and hydrated to the point where I could just rinse it out after shampoo and wear no other products all day. I’m not necessarily saying it doesn’t repair damage, just that it’s super overpriced for how little of a difference is there. For quality, not liquidity or thick, kinda in between. Me and my sister shared this bottle and got a good 10 uses (5 each) in total. Although our hair is medium length, we have thicker hair so it ran kinda quickly. Product was okay not bad. Recommendations: I’ve been just buying jojoba oil (or you can buy any organic carrier oils such as coconut oil, rosehip oil, grapeseed oil) and you can choose to heat it up for a few seconds or leave it alone up to you. Let it sit in your hair for an hour to two hours and then wash hair. This is so super yet so effective so try this for a start.

I love this line and am so glad I found this hair repair mask. It gives that nice balance of moisture and repair, and leaves my hair feeling soft, nourished, and healthier-looking. Definitely a keeper.

it IS amazing. my hair is down to my butt and can get dry and frizzy as it is greying. surprised how well it works to soften & make it silky without any greasiness at all. noticeable softness right from 1st use. as i only need to wash my hair once per week, ive also added argon oil for shine & keep the silkiness (just a drop or two in my hands and stroke my hair with it)
