I was looking for a second bag that would work for carry-on or checked luggage. This bag is the perfect size. It has a strap that slips over luggage dolly handle. Well constructed.

I recently purchased this bag to use for short trips. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to pack, how much it actually holds, and how well it's made.

This duffle bag has so many pockets!! Every side and flap seems to have something special going on. The ends have zippered pockets and elastic trimmed open top compartments. One end is regular and the other is lined with thicker than normal waterproof silver ice cooler material. It's not the junky stuff that rips out. It's perfect for wet things, or things you want to keep cold, or cold things that are going to sweat as they thaw. The open top mesh pockets are made of a stiff heavy mesh that is remarkably snag-resistant. I like all the double zippers on the large side and front compartments. The zippers themselves are medium duty metal with plastic teeth. They are not necessarily wimpy, it's just that the rest of the bag is so well built that the zippers will probably be the first things to break. The fabric of the exterior of the duffle is a mid to heavy weight Cordura type canvas. The lining is a decent weight nylon that should handle a lot of abuse. Everything is fully lined and the seams are hem taped, so there are no exposed fabric edges anywhere. The stitching is even and well done. They used heavy duty thread and bar tacked the straps. The handle is padded and the shoulder strap has a sliding cushion to make heavy loads more comfortable. The strap hardware is made of plastic, not metal, but feels fairly sturdy. There is a padded laptop slot inside the main compartment. There are also two movable semi-rigid dividers that stick on with velcro. I have never had a bag with movable dividers before, so I may have to modify my packing style a bit, but they look useful. I like all the zippered compartments on the underside of the main flap. I suspect that this duffle of mine is gong to get "borrowed" and taken to college when my son goes back again. The dimensions just meet the carry-ion luggage limits for most of the big airlines. I am really glad that I got this tactical duffle bag.

It's well built, thoughtfully designed, and offers plenty of storage without costing a fortune.
