Tune 780NC - Noise Cancelling Headphones - Black | Hi-Res JBL Pure Bass Sound plus Spatial Sound, Adaptive Noise Cancelling with Smart Ambient

This is my first set of nose cancelling headphones, and I'm finding them really useful. JBL is a brand name that I trust - they've been in the audio business for 80 years now, producing quality equipment all that time. There's a short learning curve to gt the hang of the on-ear controls, but they're simple enough once you're used to them. And when switching modes, a voice announces what mode you've switched to, so there's no confusion there. These headphones have 3 operating modes: 1) ANC - Active Noise Cancellation - these help to dampen external sounds, to prevent interference with whatever you're listening to. It can even be used when you're NOT listening to anything, just to help reduce external noises. 2) Ambient Aware - keeps your music playing at the set volume, but also blends in some external noises - great for when you're in a situation where you need to have some awareness of what's going on around you. 3) Talk Through mode - when you activate this, your music volume drops down a bit, and your microphone picks up and amplifies frequencies in the normal speaking rang. This is perfect for when you have your headphones on but need to have a short conversation with someone. The app also provides a few extra features, such as equalization, balance, etc. I think these headsets are a fairly good value for the money, when taking into account Brand name, build quality, and noise cancellation/awareness modes. Battery life seems to be great - I can use these for several days of heavy use before needing a recharge. Recharge is fairly quick, also, with a quick boost feature than can add enough juice to get you through the rest of the day, in just a few minutes. All in all, I'm very happy with these headphones!

My household has been regular users of JBL products for years, so I leapt at the opportunity to try these JBL Tune 780NC Headphones, and they certainly met the high expectations I have developed for the brand. The sound quality is rich and balanced, with the signature JBL Pure Bass delivering plenty of depth without overwhelming the clarity of the audio. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or streaming videos, everything sounds super clear and immersive. I particularly like the Adaptive Noise Cancelling feature, which reduces distractions from the surrounding environment. Reversely, when I need to be more aware of my surroundings, the Smart Ambient mode is incredibly useful and easy to switch on. The call quality has also been excellent, with voices coming through clearly on both ends of conversations. The battery life is impressive, as I have gone a few days now without having to recharge. I was also pretty stoked by the ability to connect to multiple devices at once, so it's really easy to switch between my phone and laptop. The headphones are lightweight and comfortable to wear, and the soft ear cushions and padded headband provide a secure fit without feeling heavy. Overall, I am extremely impressed with these JBL Tune 780NC headphones. While initially flinching at the price, it wasn't until I handled and experienced the device that I fully appreciated the value in the quality. These headphones deliver impressive sound quality, comfort, battery life, and useful features, making them an excellent value for as much use as I expect to get out of them. I would absolutely purchase again if needed and can confidently recommend.

You know what maybe it’s just me, but this did not quite live up to my expectations. I was expecting a much deeper bass and better noise cancelling. It’s great headphones if you’re looking for something simple and not that punchy. I liked that it is black and neutral and can pretty much match any outfit. It feels comfortable and it didn’t make my head hurt or anything. I was just a tad bit disappointed about the sound quality. Overall, these are pretty good, but definitely not THAT good.

I've been very impressed with the JBL Tune 780NC headphones. Battery life has been outstanding. I can go days between charges with regular use, and the speed charging feature is incredibly convenient when I'm in a hurry. Bluetooth pairing was quick and reliable, and I've had no issues with connectivity. The build quality feels sturdy, with durable materials that hold up well to everyday use. Overall, these headphones deliver excellent sound, long battery life, comfortable wear, and dependable performance. They're an outstanding value and one I would definitely recommend.

These are extremely nice wired/wireless bluethooth headphones. The package contains the headphones and a auxiliary audio cable to usb C adapter giving you the option to plug the headphones in if desired. What is lacking is a usb c charge cable, guess they assume we have one for everything else. They are very comfortable to wear and the audio quality is top notch! They have a surprisingly good amount of bass output and good sound quality I haven't experienced with bluetooth ear buds. I ordered these as I saw my neighbor using headphones working in the yard and thought that was a great idea. I can clearly hear my music while using my mower, the noise canceling technology really cuts down on the ambient noise. I haven't used the headphones to take a call so am unaware of the performance as a headset. For comfort and sound quality these are great headphones!
