SulfaPlex (formerly Sulfathiazole) is an effective and safe treatment for many bacterial, fungal and protozoan infestations in the aquarium. Easily removed with carbon and does not impair nitrification. SulfaPlex is recommended for the treatment of certain diseases in marine and freshwater fish only. It IS NOT recommended for treating any style aquarium containing invertebrates, corals, crustaceans, or elasmobranchs (sharks and rays).

Saved One of My Sick Hatchetfish
Two of my silver Hatchetfish were ill. One had a protrusion by it's anus and the other was a bit bloated. Both were swimming about and eating. I treated them with Epsom salt and other remedies assuming that it was some sort of constipation but the fish didn't improve. I tried Kanaplex but again, no improvement. I decided to try Sulphaplex as a last ditch effort (to be honest, I've tried Sulphaplex for other ill fish in the past without any luck so that's why it wasn't my first choice). To my surprise, the fish with the protrusion improved after a couple of days of the Sulphaplex. Unfortunately the bloated Hatchetfish rapidly declined and died. I treated the tank for 3 weeks which just ended a few days ago and so far, the Hatchetfish that recovered has not had a relapse *knock on wood*.

It really works. My fish was is bad condition it's tail was completely gone and it was hanging upside down. After i added this the next morning it was swimming fine.But, IT KILLED ALL MY NERITE SNAILS
