Product claims to be "3/4‘’screw on furniture glides sliders", yet some reviewers say they won't stay stuck on. are they "screw on", or adhesive?

Don't bother with the stick on type. I've had the screw on ones on my table & chairs for 20 years. They are a great product! I just ordered my 3rd set. They do wear over time but that is to be expected, especially with the amount of dirt that ends up on my floors with the horses, dogs & husband that works construction.

what is the hole diameter for all 3 types (sizes) of the screw in sliders?

I did not use the screws that came with the sliders. I used #8 cabinet screws. I could have used #10 but you have to keep in mind how high the screw head sticks up. #12 would not fit. Sorry I do not have a slider here to measure.

20? What kind of quantity is 20? Chairs come 4 or 6 to a table.

Well, if you apply these to both your chairs and to the table then it works out to 20 (4 legs/table + 16 legs on 4 chairs).

what size are the screws?

I used my own; Phillips headed countersunk #8 x3/4” wood screws. I used a specially ground 5/16” drill bit to to dill the countersink into the holes of the glides.
