Surprising High Quality, Excellent Customer Service, Cheap
I was searching for a catch can for my BRZ/GT86 and didn't want to spend $100+ on a catch can just for the name or a fancy mounting bracket. Since I work in the automotive field, I figured fabricating a mounting bracket is no big deal. So i purchased this catch can and it is exactly 100% identical to the big M-brand version catch can. The pros - This catch can has a good bronze micron filter in it, internal baffling and O-rings on the fittings to help with sealing. Excellent pricing, priced at less than 10% of the M-brand version and other branded catch cans. Much better features than all the other catch cans in this price range. The cons - Requires you to figure out some sort of a mounting solution, but even zip lock cable ties will do. Received the catch can fairly quickly. Came full assembled with the bronze filter and baffling inside the can. Fittings have O-rings on them and the drain plug at the bottom came with teflon tape on them. The lower portion of the catch can had some scratches on it. Send the seller some pics and they send out a replacement lower can the next day. So excellent communication and after-sales service on their part. Following all the reviews on other catch cans here, I was fearful about leaks. So I pressure tested them in a tub of water. Blocked off the outlet and ran 5psi of air through the inlet. There was minimal leaks from the inlet and outlet fittings. Tightened them up and that fixed the issue. It wasn't fully tightened the first time around. Never had any leaks there after. Threw in some steel wool into the can, since I wanted a whole lot more baffling in there. It honestly doesn't need it. Fabricated a mounting bracket, painted it and installed. It's been on the car for a few days now and no leaks whatsoever. I should open it up to see if there's any oil in there, but I've been too lazy to do that. Probably check it next week. Either ways, the catch can works well. No leaks from anywhere. Excellent pricing for a catch can, and has good baffling and filtration. Seller's communication was quick and they even replaced the lower can since the first piece had scratches. So 5 stars for these guys.

Amazing customer support, high quality product, great price
First I have to say this seller is amazing. Shipping was extremely fast from china, and they completely backed their product when it arrived, and had a slight manufacturing issue. They where quick to respond, and after describing my issue, and sending a few pictures detailing the issue they had no problem replacing the can. Now on to the catch can. I installed the catch can on a 2012 Hyundai Genesis coupe 2.0t, and for the price it can not be beat. The quality is right up there with its big name brand cousin. First thing you will notice upon unboxing is its look, finish, and weight which seem to have a lot of time and thought put into it for such a simple can. The inlet and outlet are clearly labled and seperated inside the can. The outlet is baffled by a quality brass filter built into the top of the can. The 3/8" npt barbed fiitings have a rubber gasket as well as the top portion of the canister that seperates from the bottom portion for easy draining. With those seals the canister is completely air tight, so no worries of potential boost leaks or oily residue getting all over the engine compartment. The bracket suppiled is easily adapted to any vehicle with a little bit of ingenuity. Over all with customer support backing their product and with the quality at such a reasonable competitive price this can is a no brainer to purchase, and I will be recommending and purchasing for future projects to come. Ps. The Hyundai Genesis coupe uses 7/16" hose for the catch can ports on the passenger side, and one 3/8" hose on the driver side going from the valve cover to the can then 7/16" from the can to the intake manifold port. The barbed fittings supplied with this can work perfect for this application with a good hose clamp.

Great upgrade for my '23 4Runner
Easy to install, hose barbs/o-rings have a tight fit into the catch can, o-ring on removable can provides a secure fit as well. Had to use an angle bracket to space the catch can away from the engine, easy to find at Lowe's. Used 3' of 3/8" hose, found at local auto parts store. Great value, will help keep to a minimum any heavy blowby getting recirculated back into the intake system.

Awesome money saver
I installed it on my 2021 Honda Odyssey EX in under 15 minutes. It is a quality catch can with a nice baffle that unscrews for quick observation. There is an allen wrench plug in the bottom. It is going to need some Teflon tape around the threads or it will leak oil. I noticed oil residue at the bottom of the can after a thousand miles. I remove the catch can, then the plug and gave a couple turns of Teflon tape on the threads and reinstalled it. Not a problem since. I have the catch can loose enough to where I can turn it to the side to unscrew the entire can to drain any residue at the bottom. For those with GDI engines who do not install this catch can, there is trouble for you down the road. Don't let the car dealer tell you that their engine doesn't get much carbon buildup, as they are lying to you or they are totally ignorant of how a GDI engine functions. You would have thought that these car manufacturers would have learned something from Volkswagen years ago about this dreaded GDI engine. As long as you have a catch can like this, you have nothing to worry about.

Increased crankcase pressure!!!
In short these cans work great but they can sometimes cause more harm than good in the case of my car it was creating more crankcase pressure which was causing my valve cover gasket and Vanos seals to constantly leak and it was a bit of a head scratcher at first! Little did I know that the bronze filter had gotten clogged up with oil and it was restricting the air flow to the point where if left unchecked could have caused severe damage to my engine and this could possibly happen to you too! Iโve since removed that bronze filter and it seems to be working much better and Iโm not getting any more oil leaking around my valve cover. And yes alll my gaskets had just been replaced when I noticed the leaking the first time around so it wasnโt due to any oil parts. Iโve added some steel wool under the baffle and it seems to do the trick and removed the bronze filter. Itโs not bad for a $20 can. But anyone looking for a quality can, the best can in North America, look at upr products catch can made in Florida. Iโve tried the radium can and many other big name brands in the last 3 years, they all suck compered to the upr ๐บ๐ธ

Quality can with an issue solved. Keep reading.
I received the can in one week, shipped from China. That alone is pretty impressive. The can is solid and nicely finished without stray burrs or issues with the machining. The threads of the can and the barbs are very good. The bronze filter appears solid and flows well. Overall it's put together nicely and seems quite well made, especially for the price. However, there is an issue. Keep reading. O-rings are present on the can and both hose barbs providing a nice seal in those areas. Now, there is the issue. While the rest of the can seals up nicely, the plug at the bottom of the can isn't sealed. There is teflon tape on the plug from the factory, but even when the plug is tight, it leaks very badly. I did a mild pressure test of the can and air came streaming out of the bottom plug threads. So, at least the can I received should not be installed as received because it would leak oil. I contacted the seller and will update this review when I hear back. Update: The seller replied right away and addressed my concern. They wanted pictures of the leak, which is perfectly reasonable. I filled the can with water, captured the dripping in a pic and send it to the seller as proof that it leaked. They apologized for the issue and are shipping me a new can. I'll update the review one more time when the can arrives. Very good service from the seller so far. Update: I received the replacement can from China in a week and a half. Not bad. The new can does not leak! The plug fits better than the first can. I suspect that made the difference. The new can also has tape in the threads like the first. Of note, while I was waiting for the replacement can, I took the first apart and noticed some burrs on the internal threads. The second is also better in that regard. Even with an expensive can, I'd check for burrs, so I don't consider that an issue. Just something to probably expect for the price of this can. They are easily deburred, so no big deal. Given the improved quality of the second can and the good service from the seller in rectifying the issue of the first can and standing behind their product, 5 stars!

The price invalidates most complaints
There isn't much to say. I think you get a really good item here for the price. If you pay a fair bit more, you may get one that's easier to install. the core product though seems really strong for the price. It is well macined, tapped, and functional aluminum. It has been a long time since I was impressed with the machining on an affordability purchase. It isn't mind boggling, but very impressive that they can sell it at this price. A dipstick would be nice, but I plan on plumbing a drain, so not too big a deal for me. the bracket that holds it to the car isn't too hard to bend, but again price. The biggest issue for me was the tiny screws that came to tighten the can to the bracket. One never really fit the allen key to begin with, and another has rounded off. I just picked up some home depot replacements for like a dollar. Just to help someone else out, the hole in the bottom of the can should be 3/8 pipe thread. You can get a 3/8 ball valve drain in home depot as well to upgrade in the future. I purchased m4 screws for the top based on another comment. If I don't revise this then assume the M4 was appropriate for the top screws. expect to spend some time mounting it. Overall though great for the price. Hopefully no issues arise down the road.

Good
Seemed to install with ease. I got a valve for easy drainage vs unscrewing the bowl. Time will tell how well it works and if the little mounting bracket will hold up. All the threads were ok and orings were ok.

Catch Can
Nice little catch can, and for the price you can't go wrong. My jlt catch can broke a fitting so I just ordered one of these to have it next day, I have to admit they're pretty much same thing only this one costs less then $30CAD & JLT is over $200CAD

Does the job and price is reasonable
Product was as described. I have purchases it before. 4 stars because it arrived with damage / deflect. The attachment ring is missing paint on one side and one of the screws holes that is in the top of the device is not well done so the bolt cannot go in easily.
