will this tire fit a john deere lx277?

Yes. I just installed them on the front of my LX277. Please note, however, that the wheels lack the wheel bearings of the original John Deere wheels, which is a real cost saving measure/cheap way to manufacture the wheel.. Instead, there is a grease fitting on the inside of the wheel that must be hit with a grease gun. My guess is the tires (like all of the small equipment Chinese tires I have purchased), will dry rot within a few years and will require tubes. I'm hanging on to my original wheels as an insurance policy.
