Great little pocket knife.
Came in a nice box. Knife looks and feels of high quality. I really like the knife. It came sharp and ready to go. Fights tight on my paints so I don’t worry about loosing it. The only problem I have with it is it’s so damn hard to open it. It will take both hands to open. Maybe it will loosen up after it’s used a wile. I still highly recommend this knife to anyone wanting a good blade with a classic look to it.

Expect nothing but the best quality from Schrade
This feels like an expensive knife for a very reasonable price. Perfect size for an EDC but very substantial and heavy. Beautiful handle and an equally beautiful sharp blade. I love a pocket knife with a clip but this knife is also the perfect size for dropping in your pocket as well. Oh, and let us not for MADE IN AMERICA....the way knives should be. One small drawback, flipping open using the thumb stud is very hard at first, but the more you use this knife the easier it gets. Buy two and give one to a friend. Like a wise man once told me.."There is no better friend in life than a good pocket knife."

Good little tool.
Let's get this out of the way first: yeah it's rough mechanically and extremely hard to open the first 300 times. Patience, grasshopper. An evening of working it back and forth with a little WD40 has smoothed it out quite a bit. Now it at least closes with a satisfying thunk. Still harder to open with the thumb stud. The angle produced by where the stud is located doesn't afford much leverage. You know what? This medium sized knife will never be - and was never intended to be - a tacticool m&p style folder, deployed with a flick in an instant. ALso, no it wasn't all that sharp out of the box and will need some touch up. What I like: for less than a 20 this is finished really nicely. The saw cuts and bolsters are fitted very smoothly and the nickel is well polished. It feels really good in your hand. The pocket clip is also well fitted and plenty tight. I like the shape of the clip point blade. Not too thick. No play in the blade. You could slice off some cheese and salami for a picnic with this little tool. The best part: the liner lock, which works well and is why I chose this one over the regular Pioneer with the thumbnail groove and no pocket clip. It's very secure and fits the end of the blade just right, keeping the blade open when I'm trying to poke a bigger air hole into my coffee lid. Bonus: the slender curved butt end gives you a lot of control of the blade tip, more so than the fuller butt end of the trapper style models. To summarize, this is just an everyday tool. Which you're likely to have with you when you need it, unlike those more expensive tacticool folders in your drawer at home.

Get it if you have a chance to
Great little old school edc knife, not a big fan of the locking mechanism tho, I wish it was a back locking system like the buck knife folder that way I would feel a lot safer. I wouldn’t feel like it’s gonna come undone and cut off my fingers, other than that, I like it a lot

IT IS STILL WORTH THE MONEY! YOU JUST NEED PATIENCE!!!!!
This OLD TIMER knife is by far the best built knife from OLD TIMER. The FACT that it is beyond stiff from the manufacturer is NOT a problem. It actually is kind of nice to have a knife that needs to be "broken" in. It's a heck of alot better than a knife with a blade that "SWINGS" open like it was never properly pressed together at the factory. So in my mind they actually took the time to make sure you get a very well built knife. You won't be disappointed. And the blade is actually alot better than the other TRAPPER knife. You have alot more control of the tip of the blade it is not nearly as long. Wich is a good thing!

Good features, but hard to open
Lock and pocket clip on a classic knife. Good size and fairly sharp. However, it was Very hard to open and close even after a drop of oil. Probably won't buy again because of that...

Great knife
This is great knife, very sharp right out of the box. The only drawback is stiff it is to open and how stiff the liner lock is. Though it is breaking in quicker than I expected.

This is a must have for a pocket knife.
Hard to find an Old Timer with a pocket clip. This knife is perfect for your dad, grandpa, or any avid outdoorsman. I give the old school test and "see if you can shave hair off with it." It will do that straight out of the box. Locking mechanism is solid, a little stiff but that is a plus for me. Feels like an Old Timer Schrade should. Already bought more for gifts that I know will not disappoint. At this price, you should buy 2 just for the free shipping, maybe 5. I'm sold.

Navaja buena calidad, filo aceptable
Se percibe bien construida, el filo es aceptable, el único detalle es que es un poco "dura" para abrirla.

Muy mala.
Cuesta demasiado trabajo poder abrirla y no retiene el filo.
