KastKing Cutthroat 7 inch Fishing Pliers, Ice Fishing, Gift for Men

I bought these pliers to take with me to Alabama and they worked amazing. I was able to attach the to the outside of my bag and as long as you clip them to something they are impossible to lose.

These pliers are built tough — super corrosion resistant and feel solid in the hand. The spring-loaded action makes opening quick and easy, and the sharp cutters handle leader line and braid cleanly. The 7-inch size gives great leverage without being too bulky for my kayak or tackle box.

These are awesome! been using them for 4 months, ZERO rust. The way they are put together keeps the movement smooth. Really nice set of cheap priced pliers. Most of kastking stuff is decent and this is no different.

Picked this up for an saltwater kayak fishing outing. Pliers work great and the line cutter is sharp. Handle is non-slip and fits my medium sized hand well. Comes with a nice sheath. The clip on the sheath, however, is a bit weak and did not stay attached to the straps on my backpack - lost it to the deep when I picked up the pack from behind me and the sheath rubbed against the back of the seat. Other equipment clipped on stayed put, but I cant blame anyone but myself. Luckily, I used the quality included bungie to clip the pliers directly to the backpack. I contacted KastKing directly to purchase a new sheath, but they dont sell just the sheath. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Overall, this is a good set - just be sure to secure the sheath properly, depending on your activity. Recommended.

The Cutthroat Straight Pliers are well make and thought went into their design. They are lightweight and have a nice grippy handle. The needle nose plier end works great for removing small hooks in Kokanee and trout. I really like the line cutter that stands alone on the pliers. It is very easy to cut leaders and excess line on knots and loops. I like the hole in the jaw where you can run a hook through and use the pliers to cinch down on a knot you tied onto the hook to make a leader. The plier storage case clips onto your belt and the pliers have a safety cord you can clip onto a belt loop. The only thing I did not like on the belt plier case was that it rotated on the belt loop attachment and when you went to put the pliers back into the case after use it may have spun sideways or upside down and you would have to rotate the case right side up to get the pliers back into it. I would certainly buy the pliers again.

Goodbye Rapala clippers! Hello KastKing! These pliers are awesome for anybody new or experienced in fishing. They make everything from removing hooks to cutting line a breeze. I do at least 75% of my fishing out of a kayak, so space is at a premium. The holster is a nice touch, and the clip rotates with preset locking points so it’s easy to clip onto a bag, belt, pocket, etc. I clipped my carabiner right to the eyelet in the holster so they can’t wander away also. THEY CUT BRAIDED LINE! Finally, I can throw my cheap Rapala toe-nail clippers in the junk drawer. I’m typically using 30-50 lb braid with a fleuro leader, and it’s been a nightmare trying to find something that cleanly cuts the braided line. They feel well-made and very sturdy in the hand. I seriously doubt that I’ll be needing any replacements or repairs, but if they do, KastKing has an awesome warranty on all of their products. I will definitely buy from them again!

Love this! I keep it on my fishing vest and use it to remove fish hooks. The length of the pliers do the job 95% of the time. At other times, the fish has swallowed the hook and I need to use another device to get down deep to remove the hook. Good price, excellent holster, very valuable tool on a fishing outing.

These pliers are the best we have found for removing hooks and holding fish...Do not break down with constant wet use...Excellent.

Pliers seem to be good. The case isn’t great - doesn’t stay on your belt well.
