This thing fit immediately on my CCM 910 helmet. They sent the right size spacers and the right screws that fit through the spacers. Looks great and is clear as a bell with no fogging what so ever. I'm amazed how easily it went on with the spacers..Installed in like 3 minutes..Glad I bought this for sure!!!

I bought this for my 12 year old son who is getting certified to be a hockey official and they need to wear a visor or an unsnapped cage for safety. The cage is very cumbersome when using a whistle, so he wanted a visor. These are made for an adult size helmet because usually visors are not allowed for youth hockey so I wasn’t sure if it would fit a youth helmet. I was pleased to find that it did in fact fit his youth helmet with a little work on my end. It’s easy to attach one end but the other end takes a bit of patience and work to get the screws to line up and screw in but it can be done. I then pushed the visor all the way back as close to the helmet as possible and tightened the screws all the way. It curves out slightly more than on an adult helmet, but it’s very usable and still serves its purpose well. Not sure if it will hold up as well as the more expensive ones but for only $25 I’m sure it will be fine for the limited use he will get out of it reffing games. He won’t be getting too many hits on it.

Good shield. Just the right size for my liking. I keep helmet in a bag and haven’t been hit by a stick or puck so I can’t attest to the strength and scratch resistance

I’ve used it for a couple of games so far, one in the 90F heat and I had no issues with fogging or anything. Came with no instructions which was okay, just slide the spaces in and put the new screws in, very simple.

Any negative review of this item mentions missing bolts or spacers. My visor was delivered with a ziplock bag of parts, and still only had 3 screws, not 4. Digging through old helmets didn’t produce a screw long enough, so the visor’s useless until I swing by a store. I should have bought a brand name visor if I had to go by the hockey store anyway. Quality wise, the visor is to be as expected. Clear, no distortion, cleans up nicely.

After using bauer visors for 20+ years, I was way overdue and this one just made sense, no fogging, crystal clear, a little on the big size for my bauer 4500 size small, works as it should, would recommend!!
