Perfect!
Omg i cannot stress enough how great this is! Ive tried literally every single kind/style there is for my right hand/wrist pain that comes from multiple issues. I have carpal tunnel but i also have tendonitis & because of this i have SEVERE pain in my wrist and also in the heel of my palm. The pain in my palm makes me want to push into my palm to relieve it & this is the ONLY brace that supports my wrist on front & back, stabilizing it completely but also so the splint covers the heel of my palm as well. The others I've tried dont quite fit correctly, some are too low & most are too high, that they go up to my fingers but don't have enough compression in the wrist & palm. Idk if it's because it's specifically made for women, but it is JUST RIGHT!!! It sits very low on my palm so it's far below my fingers but it compresses exactly where it needs to on the heel of my palm & my wrist. Even tho it is compressing & tight enough, it doesn't feel uncomfortably so because of the memory foam, which is not too thick, just enough to make it comfy! The material is sooooo much softer, lighter & more breathable than any of the others that CLAIM TO BE! I always pulled them off & I'd have strap marks & my skin would b red & sweaty & itchy! Not with this one! I can't say enough how perfect this is for me personally! I'm sure everyone's anatomy is a little different & everyone's pain is slightly different also so not every product will suit everyone's needs the same, doesn't mean they're poor products, but for me, this is it! So grateful to have found this! As a mom, i dont have time to b in pain & not have my dominant hand working lol. Also, i have to say it looks alot cuter than in the pics, just as a side note lol. It is light gray & white with pink on the inside, so i love its look also - better than all the black ones that draw attention instantly!

Best splint I have found
I bought 2 sets of these wrist splints about 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and given a referral for surgery. At the time I was pregnant an unable to have the surgery so my doctor recommended wearing splints. I tried many different brands that were very uncomfortable and made my hands hurt and tingle more than they already did. My husband is also a sufferer of CTS so when I stumbled across these after days of research I bought us each a pair as a final attempt using splints. To our surprise they have helped us tremendously. They are comfortable to wear and breathable. We wear them to bed and they have reduced my night pain and numbness by 90% allowing me to get more restful sleep. I dont wake up every 20 mins. now in agony shaking my hands to regain circulation. They are very durable. I just replaced the left hand splint after 4 years yesterday because the splint finally broke. I have been able to wash them on delicate cycle and air dry without issue. I highly recommend this product. Now that my kids are older and more self sufficient hopefully I can have to surgery and not need them anymore but in the meantime they have been a life saver. I no longer have to sleep upright in a recliner with pillows under each arm just to get an ounce of sleep.

THE BEST -- FOR ANY NORMAL SIZED MAN WITH NORMAL SIZED HANDS
THEY ARE MY FAVORITE - AND THEY ARE NOT "JUST FOR WOMEN" I am very much "MALE" - 6' 2" TALL - weight 180 - I wear large in shirts, and size 46 suit coats. I have never been confused for a woman. I have had wrist pain for over 40 years. The cartilage in the wrist bones is gone by X-ray and CT scan. I wear these braces on both wrists during physical activity. I have a storage box full of wrist braces - and I do use others occasionally for specific tasks - like painting. HOWEVER, for day to day use --- these are the best for me. I don't have small hands. I wear "medium" in surgical gloves -(size 7 1/2) - and these braces are a TINY bit hard to get on - but I use baby powder if my hands are moist. They fit me perfectly - and I have no idea why they continue to sell them "FOR WOMEN". I use these for computer and wood shop work, They prevent the pain that occurs with heavy yard work or construction jobs. They don't restrict my needed flexibility. They provide great support without the "binding" that make some unsatisfactory. I have tried at least 30 different braces -(the ones for men) ----- and these GIRL braces are still the best for me. I just measured the smallest diameter at the wrist - and it is 7 1/4" on the right. I launder them with normal wash cycle - I don't use the dryer on these.

Great wrist braces
I started to get carpal tunnel symptoms because of the way I slept with my hands curled underneath me, so I need to have my wrists braced at night. I originally bought a brace at the grocery store that I found to be utterly worthless. It was basically just stretchy fabric with finger holes, and it didn't help at all. Then I ordered one of these for daytime use and a Futuro night-time brace for sleeping, but I found the Futuro brace to be uncomfortable and take away all my dexterity (grabbing covers at night was nearly impossible). So, I returned the Futuro brace and now use these Wellgate braces (one left and one right) both at night and when necessary during the day. Here's why I found these to be the best (and a few cons you should be aware of as well): Pros: *Comfortable enough to sleep in (the inside of the brace is lined and does not irritate my skin), so can be used day or night *You still can use your fingers with this brace *Looks nicer than some of the braces out there *Relatively streamline against your arm, so it fits nicely under most sleeves *Left and right versions for optimal fit *The velcro doesn't snag on covers as easily as some other braces *Stays in place on your wrist/arm (one of my previous braces would slip during the night) *More breathable than the other braces I tried *Successfully limits your wrist movement *Stabilizers in front and back for extra support Cons: *After a couple months of nightly use, the velcro doesn't hold quite as strong as it originally did (so they sometimes get brushed open at night) *I wish there was a bit more padding for extra comfort (though these are still the most comfortable braces I've found) *Fabric edges around the holes for the velcro straps have started to fray a bit (this is just visual, doesn't affect the product's function) *I wish the lower velcro strap was just a bit longer to account for my arms widening below my tiny wrists (If you have big hands/wrists/arms, I don't recommend these particular braces) *To keep the velcro from scratching your skin, you need to take care to angle the straps slightly towards the center (not a big deal for me, but worth noting)

They've lasted me a long time!
I began working from home as a transcriptionist back in 2009. I would type anywhere between 4 to 8 hours a day 5 days a week. A few months into it, I was beginning to feel the effects on my wrist. I purchased these braces in 2010, and they were lifesavers. If it weren’t for them, I am positive I would have developed carpal tunnel in one or both of my wrists. They were a perfect fit and very comfortable. I could drive with them, sleep with them, and perform other common tasks without a problem. I used them for several years until I retired from transcription work and returned to school. Recently, I had to type up a lot of reports, and I was beginning to feel that familiar strain. I fished out my braces, and once again they provided much needed relief. The Velcro on my right wrist brace had finally worn out though, and I was delighted to find that these were still available on Amazon. The only thing is that my new brace is much tighter on my hand and leaves the area around my thumb sore after a short time. This is probably because it is brand new and I still have to break it in, but I don’t recall having this issue before. Other than that it’s great. My left brace definitely has some wear to it, but until the Velcro gives up on that one too I see no need to replace it.

Must have if you're Pregnant
I'm pregnant and suddenly got carpal tunnel syndrome. My hands, particularly my fingertips (except the pinky) have gone numb, feels like pins and needles, and has a burning sensation. It is so hard to go about my day and do simple things like open up a bag of chips or jar. My OB said that while there's no way to cure carpal tunnel since it's part of pregnancy, especially in the 3rd trimester, it helps to wear a brace throughout the day and night to help stabilize the wrist and allow blood to flow. I have tried a handful of different braces here on Amazon, including compression wrist sleeves but I had issues with all of them whether it be comfort, quality, or range of motion. I decided to try this brace from Wellgate and so far it is my favorite. It's more rigid than the ones you can interchange between right and left hand but it does a better job at stabilizing my wrist AND the cut off by the fingers are low enough to allow more range of motion which is what I need during the day. Also, it is very comfortable to sleep in. My terrible carpal tunnel symptoms are still there but I find that the pain is less when I wear this brace. I almost returned this the first time I got it because it didn't seem to work, but I gave it a chance by wearing it for an entire week before making a sound decision. I can honestly say that this one is worth getting. The fit is also meant for women's hands and wrist. The velcro strap isn't very long so there isn't an access of material to wrap around your wrist. My hands don't sweat when wearing this all day and night so it is very breathable. If you're pregnant and have carpal tunnel, I highly recommend this product. Shortly after, I developed carpal tunnel on my left arm and so I will most definitely order another one for the left side.

Greatly improved my chronic wrist pain
I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in my wrists after ignoring the symptoms for five years. I developed chronic pain in my right wrist from using a mouse at work that persisted even when I wasn't at work. I tried ergonomic mice and switched to using my left hand but developed the same pain in my left wrist. I was worried I had done permanent damage to my wrists and finally went to the doctor. My doctor recommended that I pick up braces at the drug store and wear them all the time including at night. Most of the drug store brands are made for men's hands and did not fit comfortably. I went online and bought the left and right Wellgate Women's braces, which I wear all day at work and when I sleep. I usually take them off around the house unless I'm doing an activity that hurts my wrists. They have a stiff piece inside that keeps your wrists straight and prevents you from bending them in a way that exacerbates the problem. My symptoms improved almost immediately, and my pain is far less severe and frequent. The thumb holes felt a little tight at first, but I got used to them quickly and don't notice it anymore. The color is more subtle than most of the ones sold in stores, and they clean up well if you handwash them every now and then. After trying 3 different ergonomic mice, an ergonomic keyboard, switching hands, and finally resorting to ibuprofen, these have worked better than anything. I'm so glad I found them, and I highly recommend them.

Perfect design for women
This is the third wrist brace I've ordered for hand/wrist pain from typing, and it's the best by far. I'm a small woman, and I've realized that most wrist braces on the market are "unisex" which really means "made for men." This one is superior because it's actually designed for women. It fits snugly and comfortably, and there's not a bunch of excess velcro getting in my way from pulling the strap to the tightest setting. I have small wrists/forearms, and I don't even have to pull the strap to the tightest setting when wearing this wrist brace, which is unheard of for me. I also like that it's smaller overall compared to others I've tried. Those ones took up more than half my arm whereas this one goes about halfway down my arm. I haven't tried to wear it while sleeping, but it seems comfortable enough to sleep in. I mainly wear it when typing at the computer to reduce carpal tunnel symptoms. Like others, I love this wrist brace and want to purchase one for the right hand, but it's out of stock. Please restock the right side so us women can get the relief we need without having to use the bulky braces designed for men. I'd also love to see this come in more colors.
