I planned on sewing a pocket for it in the back of the seat. The weather resistance is why I chose this model.I have not made the change to my bike yet so I have just been carrying it around and using it while I work.Last night I was changing the belt on my tractor and set it and my phone on a stump and set to work. At some point I picked up my phone and used it to look up something on the internet and then dropped it in my pocket. When it got to dark to work anymore I went inside completely forgetting my speaker. I woke up at midnight to the sound of rain pouring down and thunder shaking the house. I did not even think about the speaker. In the morning as my sister was leaving with the kids for school I remembered it right then. I was currently raining. I threw on some shoes and ran out and grabbed it off the same stump. I slung the loose water off of it and took it inside. It powered up with no problem and synced immediately with my phone a room away. It still sounds great! The sound quality is real nice, it is loud enough for me and the battery lasts a long time. I have not had it run out yet. I just throw it on the charger each morning after I take my phone off charge then pick it up off the charger after work. While I would not advocate leaving your electronics out in the rain, I would definitely recommend this speaker.Edit 12/26/2021: I still am very happy with this speaker and use it all the time still. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars but it works like a dream so far *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2014* I haven't had this long, but it works like a dream so far. It's nicely loud and the sound is good, and it was very easy to set up with my tablet. The green is less lime like in the picture and more army green, which I was a bit disappointed with, but it isn't a big deal. The sounds box feels heavy and all the buttons and ports have rubber covers on them, so it appears water resistant, although I haven't tried that out yet and I hope never to need to. It came with a USB charging cord and an AUX jack cable so you can hook it up to mp3 players and other music devices that don't have bluetooth through the headphone jack. This is a nice feature, since I still mostly use a separate mp3 player to listen to music rather than my phone, and it is nice not to have to use headphones. I plan on using this in the kitchen when cooking, baking or washing dishes to either listen to music through my mp3 player or TV shows and TED-type lectures through my tablet. I've used this a little for this purpose, and so far, it is great! There is maybe 1/3 to 1/2 second sound delay behind the video when I'm watching videos, but for what I'm doing, it's just fine. I can watch a few seconds of a show without the delay being a problem, and the way I'm using this, that's all I need. It might get annoying if I was trying to watch a movie or something. For music, it would be completely unnoticeable. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Though I liked the idea of a durable speaker for outdoor use *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2014* After reading the reviews and seeing a 40% discount, I thought I'd give this a try for relaxing on the deck and fishing. Though I liked the idea of a durable speaker for outdoor use, the speaker lacks sound quality, most notably bass, so I returned it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/8475916-pyle-portable-wireless-bluetooth-speaker-stereo-box-marine-grade-waterproof](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/8475916-pyle-portable-wireless-bluetooth-speaker-stereo-box-marine-grade-waterproof) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
