This they do very well, after some shortening of the cable both between the light units and that to the towing plug. Haven't tried the 'empty trailer test' yet (with the bouncing) but that will come! Water ingress can be controlled with a strip of black plastic insulating tape across the top and down the sides where the lens joins the body - leave the bottom clear to allow drainage. ### ⭐ Definitely not a good buy - USELESS *by D***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 September 2020* These seemed good at first, and the magnet appeared strong. However, on my 3rd trip with the trailer, on the return trip with the trailer empty, the magnets on the rear of the lights detached themselves (a normal road, so not undue bouncing, just what you would expect from an empty trailer). As a consequence the lead trailed and the lights were ruined - magnets detached from the back of the lights, glass and bulbs broke - USELESS.Based on this experience I would definitely say these lights are not fit for purpose. Will try and return for a refund but not hopeful.
