And Affordable
Good saw. Ultra thin blade, and sharp. Works well with a dovetail guide. I have 2 other hand saws suitable for dovetails, but this is my go-to.

Best handsaw I have ever used
I bought this second one as a gift to my son because I like mine so much. Like a backsaw in operation but very thin kerf and cuts as least as quickly as a regular crosscut with less effort. I am able to crosscut much more accurate 90 degrees on 2x4s with this than a regular crosscut. Prefer it to circular saw because it is relaxing, light, and set up is much easier for me. Cuts are very smooth, requiring much less sanding. The blade is very thin, but kept edge well and strong if used properly. (Pull stroke, don't force) Think razor blade. I loved my old Disstons but they got dull and I kept putting off sharpening them. Now I won't have to.

Great Value
The dovetail (rip) saw came moderately well-packaged in an oversized box with kraft paper packing on one side only. I read reviews from customers who received bent or otherwise damaged saws, so I took the time to inspect mine with magnifiers before using. I was pleased to see that it was well oiled and in perfectly good condition. Using it was a pleasure as well. I do enjoy the pull-cut that these Japanese saws offer. However the plastic handles are โcheapโ feeling. Not sure about โbalanceโ of the saw vs the handle. I have the crosscut version of this saw as well, and some of its teeth had bent out because I was too aggressive with it. It was easy enough to mark those teeth with a sharpie and gently press them back in line, one at a time. These saws are very thin and flexible despite the stiffener at the top. I have trouble keeping the cross-cut saw on my line while cutting, but I chalk most of that up to user-error since I donโt cut with these every day. This rip saw seemed to track better. Overall I think the value for the money is very good for these saws.

Precise, strong and light weight!
This is a very sharp, very high quality saw that works for flush trimming, cutting tenon and small projects. The blade is incredibly strong. Get one and you won't regret it! Handle is tight and has no wobble. Highly recommend!

Great blade cheap handle
Saw is great handle is a bit cheap. Went 7โ to fit between sizes sorta wish I had bought the 9โ for the nicer handle. Either way saw cuts great on dovetails.

Nice quality, very precise clean cutting.
Wowee. What a difference for precise cutting or wafer thin adjustments to cutting! I do furniture upcycling and bought this saw on recommendation from a guy explaining how to shorten chair legs without breaking your heart, on a youtube video. This is my first pull saw so I'm probably overly enthusiastic, and I can't compare it to other pull saws. I'm not a big strong person adroitly wielding heavyweight saws so that's not an option for me. But really, night and day from a regular saw for this same task. The cut is so cleanly finished you barely need sanding.

This saw works!
Great little saw. I've used it for cutting dovetails. Also great for trimming wood. Grandkid used it for cutting wood for science projects. Sharp, cuts smoothly and clean. Great value for the money.

TLDR: just buy the darn saw already
Summary: if you hold a mirror up near your mouth and it fogs up - then buy this. If you think you might ever have to cut something in the next decade or two, or even if you donโt think you will (you will) - buy this. Youโll be trying to figure out how to make that small cut on that weird object, youโll remember you have this saw, youโll think to yourself โman Iโm so glad I listened to that random Amazon review,โ then you open up the Amazon app, find the product listing, scroll down, find this random review, let out a small singular laugh to yourself, and then you up-vote the review. Actual review: This is one of the products I had to go back and review just because it was so great. I bought this 3.5 years ago and have used it very heavily, and it still cuts like the day I got it. Works great on any wood, and any plastics Iโve come across (PVC, Nylon, PTFE, even PEEK and PVDF). Even cut rubber with it (though would not be my recommended method). Itโs great for just about any fine cutting I need. Admittedly I use machinery (miter saw, table saw, router, etc) for most cuts, so I figured I wouldnโt use this much. I was wrong. I use it all the time, particularly for unusual shaped cuts. It leaves an ultra-fine finish and is very easy to cut straight and square. Could not ask for a better saw for only ~$30.

Excelente Dozuki

Big improvment over the 9 inch
This 7 inch dozuki is way better than the 9 inch i started with. The smaller one is very sturdy in comparison and has larger teeth so it cuts much faster, the kerf is just as thin too. This saw cuts faster costs less and replacement blades are actually available to purchase at a reasonable price. I started with the 9 inch saw from the same manufacturer and i was pretty disappointed with it. It was too flimsy and it would cut at a glacial pace wearing out your arms after just a few shallow cuts. I would reccomend this product for quick accurate cuts in hand made joinery.
