For my purposes it worked and was best used if I superglue it into the key fob. The clip that holds it in place is rather weak. This advice is best if you don't want to separate your car key from your other keys.

1999 E320 Wagon didn't come with a valet key, which meant no keyring. Blank key fit with a little bit of pushing and now I have a spot for a keyring. Why is the keyring spot on the valet key and not the fob itself (y'know, the part you really don't want to lose)? Who knows, I'm sure someone had a reason long forgotten to time.

Doesn't fit my fob. Key is too long to allow the latch to engage. Two keys shown in photo, the one with the ring latches in both key fobs I have. The bare key bottoms out without latching. Adding a ring to this one will just cause you to lose your expensive key fob. Returned to Amazon.

It fits after a little modification. It’s too long so took 1-2 mm off of the top. Fits perfect now.

Seller description states that it fits a 2005 Mercedes SL55, it does not. They need to update their product or update exactly what make and model that this actually fits. I gave two stars because of their refund policy was easy.

It requires a bit of playing with it back and forth to get it to properly seat for the first time, but once it goes it fully, it will continue to nicely go in. Could just be my old key fob though. Fits really good like original key. Bought it just so I can hang the fob on my keychain as I don’t use the actual door key

It doesn’t even stay in the remote ! I had lost mine and just wanted to use it to use my remote on my keychain ! Doesn’t even do that ! It’s garbage!
