Costa Farms Norfolk Island Pine, Live Indoor Christmas Tree, 18-20 in. Tall

When I was around 12-15 I had a small forest of houseplants that I kept on a dinning table that my mom had decided to put in the corner of the huge living room and that is where I had my plants. Among them was a small Norfolk Pine, along with a Peace Lily, some ferns and ivies, and a few other indoor trees and plants. I have not had a garden of indoor plants since my stint at McGuire AFB in New Jersey. I have now started to get plants back into my home and will definitely be buying more plants from Costa Farms. I was not expecting the tree to arrive in a cardboard box, for some reason I thought it would be wrapped like a bouquet, in plastic or florist paper. I am so thankful and pleased to find the care and caution that Costa Farms takes with these beautiful living plants. My Norfolk Pine arrived only half a day late, but it is the fall weather season, so that was expected. The box is not small and is just the perfect size to hold the plant secure and straight, only a slight shift in the soil occurred during shipment, which is astonishing, considering that this plant traveled through a couple of states at least to reach me up here in Wisconsin. The soil is moist and there is absolutely no damage to the delicate branches or the trunks of the cluster of individual pine trees. As far as I can tell there is at least 6-8, possible more individual trees in my planter. This Norfolk Pine grouping makes it look like one straight, bushy, and lively tree. I love these trees so much I am actually thinking of ordering a larger one in the coming months. Maybe one of the 3-4 foot tall trees. We'll see, but I am most definitely going to be ordering more indoor houseplants and trees, along with some succulents from Costa Farms. You can not go wrong by ordering from them. I hope you do order a live houseplant or two to brighten up your home and your sprite as well.

Opening the box -- first thought "this smells sooo good"; second thought " how do I get it out?" Stop there. Spread out some newspapers or an old towel. There will be dirt. The plant comes in the usual plastic pot, wrapped in brown paper, set inside a plastic sleeve, then wrapped in the decorative paper. Ease it carefully out of the box, remove the decorative paper, remove the sleeve, remove the brown paper. Debate whether to put it back in the sleeve. Put the decorative paper back on. Retrieve ornaments dislodged in the process. Be glad you put down papers to catch all the flying dirt. Not quite a tromp through the woods with an axe, but baby, you worked for this tree. It is a nice little tabletop tree. Green and full and fragrant. Decorated enough so you don't have to. But sturdy enough that you could add lights and additional ornaments. Ignore it and it should still last through the season. Someone with the space and inclination could probably keep it growing until next year.

i've ordered this little tree twice, and both times it arrived intact, living, and healthy. The 1st tree lived a few years, even in an English basement with limited light. The 2nd tree is thriving on my desk in a condo :) Love it!

2025 A huge disappointment as the box arrived with a broken pot. I ordered the cute Christmas tree ceramic pot and it arrived in pieces. The frustrating part is going through the return process with Amazon. I selected that it was damaged and it asked if the box was damaged and I said no. As I continued on with the process, it indicated there was no damage I suppose because the box was intact. This is the third year in a row I have ordered this plant and the second year in a row. I’ve had an issue. I’m not sure there’s a point in ordering another one because it won’t arrive until December 10. Why can’t they replace it and get it here sooner? 2024 I have ordered this mini pine tree two years in a row. Last year I was really pleased. This year the tree I received is very droopy and has not recovered. I did contact Costa Farms direct as recommended in the pamphlet that they include with your shipment. I sent them a picture. Customer service was very quick to respond and said since I ordered it on Amazon, they require me to either ask for a refund or an exchange via Amazon. Kind of a dilemma because there’s not really time to request a new shipment to enjoy before Christmas. I will probably order this tree again next year and give it one more try. I do love having a fresh pine scent in my home during he holidays.

AFTER I ORDERED THIS PLANT THE WEATHER REPORT SAID TEMPS WERE DROPPING, I TRIED TO CANCEL BUT TOO CLOSE TO DELIVERY. NO NEED TO WORRY COSTA DID IT AGAIN. AFTER SEVERAL SHIPPING DELAYS WITH UPS AND SPENDING A WEEKEND IN A WAREHOUSE MY CUTIE ARRIVED IN GREAT SHAPE. I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING WITH COSTA FARMS FOR YEARS HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR PLANTS.

Cute, but if doesn’t smell like pine. I had to buy pine oil.

Sent this to my sister for a Christmas gift. She was thrilled to get it. It actually arrived a day earlier than expected. It was healthy and was a little fuller and taller than I expected as well. I felt I got more bang for my buck!! Great purchase!!

We were pleasantly surprised when our perfect little tree arrived, well packaged and in perfect condition.
