There are some writing inside the book, but I was able to erase them. Besides that, it was very nice and clean copy.

I use these books every summer to keep my kids up to speed for the next year. I get the book that they are going into.

This is a good practice guide. However many problems are described and solved in methods that is not consistent with what is taught on the schools in USA. It is good to learn various methods to solve a problem. But I think this book is pushing it too much on its own unique way which ends up creating unnecessary confusion at times. Especially with sentence or word problems, it is really misleading some times, since the question can be interpreted in different ways due to the missing clarity. The Houghton Mifflin and Mc Grawhill math are much more consistent in their approach and methods.
