I had already used the exhaust putty in several places which had lasted well and the bandage repaired a bigger hole. Within a few weeks, my exhaust fell off due to corrosion in other areas

**Q: Can this be used where the exhaust manifold joins the cylinders ?**
A: No

**Q: Will this seal a small hole on the header pipe on my motorcycle?**
A: No problem its very good stuff make sure the surface after using it is wet then compact and smooth off

**Q: Does it stop the blowing immediately or does it need to set first?**
A: It sets using heat so I’d run your engine on idle for about 5 - 10 mins first then you should be ok.

**Q: Should this be applied to a warm/hot exhaust or a cold one?**
A: Hi, your better cleaning area from dirt n grease then warm up exhaust not to hot as you will be applying paste with your fingers.
Yes warm it up.
If you put it in cold, the air leak can push a hole in the paste before heat cures it thus pointless.
Again clean and warm it up.

A good product to get you out of difficulty well made , okay to put it on yourself if you have some sort of DIY skills it can be a little bit awkward too, as I feel the length of the strap is a little bit short it could be a few inches longer and it would make life a lot easier for most people applying it to normal exhausts , you also need the paste so you can properly seal the exhaust but would highly recommend as a new exhaust will cost you a substantial amount more
