These lights are absolutely fantastic. Four YEARS ago bought 20 of them to put around our new deck. Two years ago, I added some to the outside of our RV. I use the Procell C batteries from Duracell. I have only changed batteries ONCE! They provide a nice, non-intense low level of light as soon as it gets dark. And as soon as we even set foot on the deck, they turn up to a nice, but not to bright light. We installed them low, so they would light our way without interfering with nighttime enjoyment of the outdoors. They are also very tough. They have been knocked and have fallen (due to tape I used to put them up) and they just keep going. On the RV, we just leave them on and none have fallen off in 25,000 miles of driving. We are very happy with our purchase and just bought 6 more to use with our RV.Bought some more and mounted them on sides and back of our small RV. When we travel, I take the lights off and leave the flat mounting bracket. I also have 2 inside. One for the steps and one for the bathroom. Those I leave up when traveling and have no issues. I use command strips to mount them both inside and out.Great product for safety and ambiance.

These lights work great I’ve installed two sets on a couple of stairwells. Motion detection works really well with plenty of light to see. Set them at about 12” off the treads at the bottom and top of two seven step staircases.

We put one on our dark deck stairs and I love that it has a dimmer, night light brightness, until you get somewhat close, and then the motion sensor turns the light up brighter. It works great! We bought a second one for our back deck. We have had the first one for over a year and haven't replaced the battery yet.

My single daughter has a walkway between her house and a fence which is used to access the back yard. She must use this walkway to take her trash cans to the curb for pick up often after dark. There are no lights in the area and no real good place or way to add any. I thought these lights attached to the fence might do the trick. They are perfect. They provide enough light in the "standby" mode to discourage any two or four legged animals from hanging around there and when she opens the gate, there is plenty of light providing security and safety. Additionally they look good day or night.

I bought two of these to mount on the steps leading down from my deck. I put one at the top and the other at the bottom of the stairs so I can take the trash out at night without falling. The motion sensing works pretty well; the one at the top of the stairs comes on immediately when I walk out my back door. When going down the stairs, the unit at the bottom doesn't come on until you are pretty close to it, I suspect this is because I am approaching from above. It turns on when I'm about three steps above it. This isn't an issue because the light at the top of the stairs is bright enough to light the way until the bottom one turns on. However, if I'm approaching the steps from the ground, the bottom unit turns on when I'm about 20 feet away. I've had them for several months and no problems yet, they worked even when the temperature was down to 15 below zero. The only thing that remains to be seen is if the batteries last as long as they say.

The light is positioned to the left and near the bottom of our backdoor which also contains a small dog entrance. The light serves chase away racoons etc. as well lighting the entrance floor.

Easy to install, with an apparent long battery life made these the best solution to add lights to my carport columns.

Perfect little lights for the side yard or path. I’ve had one for a year and just bought another. The batteries last a long time. Easy to mount and well- built.

Great product so far. I have it outside for my dogs to see on the deck stairs at night in the winter. We have had a fairly mild winter so far and the product is holding out. Looking forward to see how it does once it gets really cold

Product packaging was already open. Item had lined paper jammed in the battery compartment with the mounting screws inside. Missing locking screw and motion sensor is defective.
