Review: Disappointing for the price. - I purchased this tent a few months ago and so far the only thing turbo about it is how fast I wish I could return it. First of all, for some reason I thought I was buying a product made in Utah, but once it arrived I saw it's made in Taiwan. For this price point that seems outrageous. None of the components of the tent seem especially expensive, which leads me to my next issue: the tent is totally dependent on its skeletal system for use, meaning if one of the plastic attachment points breaks, or the metal pivot points break, the tent is (basically) unusable. Which is a big issue if you're in the middle of a camping trip. I bought this to camp with my young daughter and two dogs, and was dismayed that it's not very easy to pitch solo. Particularly the front awning on the fly, which does not have an option to roll up or remove. I haven't been able to set up the front awning by myself, so it just flops over the front door. I might sew some loops on so I can roll it up. Those complains aside, it's a fine tent. I like the high ceiling, and if properly set up with the fly on, it can withstand some high winds. I suppose the lesson for me here is to do a bit more research before making a purchase. Review: Great tent - Easy to set up, high quality materials. Bought for grandchildren to use with RV camping. Hopefully they won't destroy it as children are young and rambunctious.
