Review: Disappointing for the price. - I purchased this tent a few months ago and so far the only thing turbo about it is how fast I wish I could return it. First of all, for some reason I thought I was buying a product made in Utah, but once it arrived I saw it's made in Taiwan. For this price point that seems outrageous. None of the components of the tent seem especially expensive, which leads me to my next issue: the tent is totally dependent on its skeletal system for use, meaning if one of the plastic attachment points breaks, or the metal pivot points break, the tent is (basically) unusable. Which is a big issue if you're in the middle of a camping trip. I bought this to camp with my young daughter and two dogs, and was dismayed that it's not very easy to pitch solo. Particularly the front awning on the fly, which does not have an option to roll up or remove. I haven't been able to set up the front awning by myself, so it just flops over the front door. I might sew some loops on so I can roll it up. Those complains aside, it's a fine tent. I like the high ceiling, and if properly set up with the fly on, it can withstand some high winds. I suppose the lesson for me here is to do a bit more research before making a purchase. Review: Great tent - Easy to set up, high quality materials. Bought for grandchildren to use with RV camping. Hopefully they won't destroy it as children are young and rambunctious.

Great tent, remember to use the tent's tie-downs.
Easy to setup, not poles and ropes to worry about. Bathtub style floor extends up the sides is water proof, so tent can be more easily used in a wet location. Quality materials, zippers, screens and workmanship. One item you need to remember when using this tent, are the tie down ropes found zippered on each corner. These tie-downs need to be used and staked down in case of high winds. Without these tie-downs high winds can potentially do damage to the tent poles and structure. Initially I tested the turbo tent by setting it up in a RV park where I slept in the tent for several days. However one day I decided to sleep in the RV. During the night there was a freak rain/wind storm with very prolonged high winds. The next day I went out to find the Turbo tent twisted up, some of the poles had collapse and one of the click-lock elbows was cracked. I had forgotten to tie down the tent using the corner tie down ropes, as the past week the weather had been fairly calm. Those hidden tie downs can become more important than they look. I repaired the elbow with some cement and eventually purchased a brand new one from Black Pine, so the tent is like new again. I also own a 8 x 10 Kodiak Flexbow and a smaller Springbar tents. This turbo tent canvas (poly-cotton) is comparable to both the Flexbow and Springbar. It's lighter than the Kodiak and much easier to setup. The poly-cotton much easier to clean and maintain.

Love this tent
I wanted a smaller tent that I can put up by my self. I also wanted a tent that is easy to take down and put away. This tent kept the warmth in during the night. At night with a lantern on I could dress without casting a shadow that could be seen from the out side of the tent. The tent is sturdy.

A Tent that Delivers!
We had been looking for a tent that could be put up without fuss. The Black Pine is it! I doubt that any wind could blow it over, all the components reflect a quality in construction, and it looks distinctive. I do wish I had purchased the 6 person model as the queen size air mattress nearly fills the floor space.
