I am honestly shocked to see all the negative reviews surrounding this product. After testing multiple ultrasonic cleaners that ultimately failed, I eventually came across this one and now 2 years later I am repurchasing. The other ultrasonic cleaners I couldn’t even get 6 months worth of; with that it HIGHLY outperforms its competitors. Have of the “ultrasonic” cleaners out here are not truly ultrasonic. And a key note to know is that a true ultrasonic cleaner should NOT vibrate so to that reviewer that complained that it didn’t vibrate….well, it’s not supposed to. It is ultraSONIC, sonic referring to sound or sound waves and ultra representing like a high pitch and unless your a dog not everybody can hear those sounds. Now the kid did detach about a year into it but guess what? It still charged and operated as it should for another 1.5 year and did its job which is to clean my Scleral contacts which are really a pain the you know what. But after product after product, I still stand by this one so I emplor those of you who are skeptical about giving this a try because of a couple bad reviews from people who are ignorant to the concept of ultrasonic, do yourself a favor and finally get your contacts cleaned right!

Solution can leak when carry it for traveling. Stopped working after 6 months. Needed to charge it after 5-7 times of use.

I really like the small size of this product but could not get it to stay on.

Worked only a Couple days; Had to recharge after one use; then started to melt the charger one day; Then worked twice then died.

I was pleased with the AMTAST Ultrasonic Contact Lens Cleaner because it's rechargeable and it makes cleaning contact lenses a breeze. No more spending time rubbing and fumbling with lenses and possibly losing them while trying to clean them. Just take them off and put them into the chamber and let it do all the work.

The unit I received would not charge. When turned on, the cleaner would just make a squeaking noise (like a busted wheel) and not vibrate. Maybe it was just bad luck, but I think I'll avoid this seller and their products from now on.

Really like this device. It cleans better than any of the competitor devices I’ve seen and very quietly. Highly recommend.

I can't quite figure out when this is working the way it's supposed to. I charge it and turn it on, and I think it disinfects but don't know how long it goes before the charge runs out. It turns off but I haven't been able to figure out when.

Opened it, try to charge it, not working! Wont turn on, wont light any LED indicating charging and it had dust in the device so it looked used. Also I cant return it because its not suited for return... wtf is this?

Hielt bei mir nur ca. 3 Monate, dann war der Akku defekt. Auch am Kabel ging nichts mehr. Mit der Reinigungsleistung war ich zufrieden, ein deutlicher Unterschied zum manuellen Reinigen. Aber wer möchte für den Preis ständig ein neues Gerät kaufen?

Ein Stern ist auch noch zu viel. Gerät wurde nie mit dem Aufladen über USB fertig, trotzt 20 W Ladegerät. Danach lief es höchstens 10 s und zeigte Batterieende an. Amazon hat den Kaufpreis zurückerstattet und wollte das defekte Gerät nicht mal zurückgeschickt haben, das war das einzig positive an diesem Produkt

Eigentlich ist der Ultraschallreiniger sehr gut, jedoch ist das Problem, dass schon das Vorgängermodell hatte nicht behoben. Nach vollständiger Aufladung, die auch deutlich länger als 2 Stunden dauert, schafft das Gerät mit Mühe und Not gerade mal 3 Reinigungen, bevor es wieder aufgeladen werden muss. Ich habe unterschiedliche Ladeadapter genutzt, alle mit dem selben Ergebnis. Wer damit leben kann, bekommt ein gutes Ultraschallreinigungsgerät, wer nicht: Findet weg.
