The front offers strong belly support and it feels comfortable. The top portion has strong elastic which doesn't feel like it will slide down. I'm looking forwarding to seeing how it goes when I'm back to work.  update: i wore this for two 14 hour days and it was surprisingly comfortable and didn't make me feel overheated. I am usually between sizes 8-10. It is snug, which is what I wanted. It measures about 15in, in length and 11in, in width - very stretchy material that keeps you together. My first picture of me is with it and the second one without.
