Because of the shape of the bulb the tip can throw a shadow, mine are installed in an enclosed opalescent housing. 10 is quite a large number to be ordering, I only needed six. They work well with an LED compatible dimmer switch. ### ⭐⭐ Not a good start *by G***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2019* Used 6 of 10 bulbs on a new dining light. They look like halogen bulbs when on so no problems there. One failed after 2 minutes turning itself on and off rapidly. I have used one of my spare bulbs and now down to 3. Not really promising given one failed after 2 minutes.
