It almost confounds my mind that this works. I took pictures (see images) and I clearly don't have very much hair, but after using this product, you really can't tell. I tried it the first time without telling my wife and asked her if my bald spot on the back of my head looked funny. She was like "you don't seem to have a bald spot anymore - what is going on?" I told her to examine it closely and see if anything looked weird to her and she was just stumped. She couldn't figure out what I'd done. It really works that well. I watched many online videos on how to correctly apply this product before using it. That is VERY important. I'll detail some major points I learned: 1. Always shake the bottle perpendicularly to gravity and shake on like a salt shaker - ie, don't tip it side ways at an angle, only straight up and down. This allows the fibers to evenly distribute. If you shake it at an angle, you'll get dark spots. 2. When applying, hold it VERY close to your head so it mostly only goes on your head. That way you don't make a mess. Then lightly pat your hair when everything looks good to get the fibers to settle down past the top surface. 3. Use a big mirror + a handheld mirror and good lighting while applying. You need to see every angle to make sure it is evenly applied. 4. Only use the little sprayer attachment (sold separately) to clean up spots where it didn't get applied thick enough. Don't try to use that to apply to your entire head. You can use that on your beard. I don't actually like the way it looks on my beard, though. 5. Don't apply while hair is wet. Get hair and scalp completely dry after washing it, style it as well as you can (but no product yet), apply fibers until everything looks good, then spray either their spray or just strong holding hairspray and kind of push your hair then into the style you want. The hairspray holds the fibers in place. 6. Just my personal experience, but don't go too close to the hairline in front if you have longer bangs like I do. It is too hard to get hairspray in there and some will fall off and stick to your face and make it look like you have dirty spots on your face. If you have shorter hair and can get hairspray to penetrate to the scalp, then you can get away with it I think. 7. I've found using a night cap at night keeps my pillow from getting discolored from the fibers. Otherwise, I have to wash my hair twice a day, in the morning and before bed. Part of this is because I apply minoxidil at night and that loosens a lot of the fibers. I think if you never use anything like that at night, then it might not be a problem.

Actually works, especially when I wear my hair in a high pony. It just subtly fills in the edges and makes my hair look so much fuller.

My hair used to be thick when I was younger, so the change to thinner hair has made me feel self conscious, especially in photographs that seem to catch me at bad angles where thin patches show my scalp under the thinner hair. I looked everywhere for something to help, and all the supplements I take haven't thickened up my hair enough to fix the problem. But this hair product works and hides all the ways my hair looks thin. It is easy to apply, and to set it, any kind of hair aerosol spray works easily, so don't worry about buying the brand stuff. I also don't need hair spray most of the time anyway. It holds on pretty well! This restores confidence about looking normal again! Easy to have perfect hair again. However, I tried the medium brown and it is really dark. But it still works, although my hair looks darker when I use this. I have some streaks in my hair, and perhaps my hair is lighter brown than I thought? Either way, it is darker than medium brown.

Giving this product a firm 4 stars, even though I admittedly did choose to Return it for a refund. I returned it because the color I chose was advertised as Medium Brown, but it came out as verrrry dark brown, almost black. Not a good match for my current color. Apparently Light Brown is what I should go with. So odds are if you need to choose the shade, err toward a little lighter than normal. That said…as for the actual quality and ease of use of the product, it seems buyers are pretty divided on one thing, and that is the “stayability” of the fibers. I tried the product 3 straight days, and did a “shake test” at 3 different times. On Day 1, about 3 hours after application, I went to the bathroom and I ran my fingers gently through my hair and lots of dark brown fiber flakes fell into the sink. Hair still looked fine though, still had decent color “coverage”. On Day 2, about 5 hours after application, I had the same amount of loose fiber flakes as 3 hours. Hair still looked fine and still had decent color “coverage.” On Day 3, about 10 hours after application, I had the same amount of loose fiber flakes as 3-5 hours. Hair still looked fine and still had decent color “coverage.” So in MY experience, you can go just about a full day and retain decent color coverage over your balding spots…BUT you will have to deal with floating colored flakes if you make any real contact with the spots you addressed with the product. See the photos below, of the Before/After pics as well as what I saw in the sink after gently running my fingers through my hair. My best take… this could be a really good product for those who really need to cover some thin spots and seldom/never touch their hair throughout the day. And I would most definitely NEVER wear a light-colored shirt when using this product, unless you want to look like you have noticeable dark “dandruff”…and if your hair gets wet, you’ll likely have colored streaks on your clothing. Lastly, I may consider re-buying this in the lighter color, but would likely only use it when I KNOW pictures are being taken or while wearing a brown, black or dark grey shirt.

This is the BEST product for mild hair thinning. I've been using it for a few years now and just love it.

While waiting for rogaine to work I needed something to help cover my thinning hair, and I am so glad I stumbled on hair fibers. This product is amazing and has completely helped boost my confidence during this transitional time. I literally cannot believe what coverage it gives and you cannot tell at all. It blends in perfectly with my hair and just wow. I love this stuff (and also hair fibers in general, I've bought a few different brands and they all work great).

I used Xfusion then Toppik for years and was very happy. Suddenly AMAZON let ONE company, Thick Hair, take over EVERY fiber product. I have ordered Medium 3 times ! They sent Auburn, then Hazel. Then a Medium that was almost Black and clumpy. Not only is the product bad, but I am a Prime Member. Amazon stated free delivery, but when you go to order Free is only if you order $25 or more. Forcing you to increase the size you order. I am DONE with Amazon's games and cheap products ! Pay attention to your longtime customers and stop selling out to corporate take overs !

I helps with coverage in small areas, but it doesn’t look like hair fibers at all, it’s powdery!

Il m'a fallu quelques jours et un peu de matraquage Marketing #Fragile pour craquer et essayer ces fibres aux promesses plurielles. J'appréhendais de me retrouver avec un casque fait de farine colorée et finalement ... Je dois admettre que c'est complètement bluffant, voire même révolutionnaire. Bonne nouvelle pour mes cheveux, moins bonne pour mon portefeuille qui devra subventionner un Toppik pour moi ...Et mon mari ! Qui a été mon cobaye (images & vidéos jointes. Mes premières sur Amazon ! #WoopWoop) et s'est volontiers prêté au jeu. Voici mes Feedbacks après utilisation sur nous deux : - La livraison est ultra rapide : aussitôt commandé, aussitôt reçu, votre Toppik est entre vos mains hyper rapidement ; - Le pot est relativement petit et compact, ce qui est pratique pour ne pas faire saturer votre salle de bains de produits X & Y et ce sera un vrai plus pour les voyages ; - Les fibres sont n'ont aucune odeur, ce qui est rassurant pour moi qui suis très sensible et appréhendais que cela fasse l'effet d'un shampoing sec qu'on applique et fait suffoquer à peine un Pshit effectué ; - L'application est hyper ... Hyper facilitée ! J'avais peur de me renverser le pot sur la tête mais les poudres sont si fines qu'elles viennent trouver leur place hyper rapidement sur le cuir chevelu entre tous vos cheveux ; - Le résultat est bluffant : il n'y a aucun effet masse, aucun effet matifié. On sort dopé de confiance en soi sans appréhender le regard accusateur des autres ; - La tenue est impeccable : nous avons affronté un vent plutôt costaud et cela n'a eu aucun impact sur les fibres qui ne se sont pas délogées ; - Les fibres ne tâchent pas : nous nous sommes couchés avec cette surcouche de Fibres et cela n'a eu aucun impact sur notre literie blanche ; Pour moi qui suis plutôt Saint-Thomas que mère Teresa, j'attendais vraiment de voir pour croire. Je suis franchement conquise, bluffée. Je recommande à 200% cet article, les yeux fermés à toutes celles et ceux qui souhaitent palier leur problématique d'alopécie légère à modérée. En revanche, ce sont les premières fibres que je teste, je ne saurais pas donner un avis plus global sur cette innovation capillaire. Mais je sais dorénavant que je peux faire une confiance aveugle à la marque.

Il Toppik è un prodotto cosmetico per capelli, unisex e di origine naturale, che consiste in fibre di cheratina. Queste fibre di cheratina si presentano sotto forma di polvere colorata, assolutamente innocua e che non causa problemi alla cute (ad esempio irritazioni, allergie, prurito, ecc..). Questo prodotto mi è stato consigliato circa 3 anni fa da un'amica che ha il mio stesso problema, ovvero l'Alopecia Androgenetica. Per chi non lo sapesse, l'Alopecia Androgenetica è una patologia causata da uno squilibrio ormonale e si tratta appunto di una patologia androgenetica e quindi ereditaria. Chi soffre di questa patologia assume dei farmaci per regolare gli ormoni ma, purtroppo, non sempre i capelli ricrescono e quindi si cerca di trovare dei rimedi alternativi alla classica protesi (parrucca). Utilizzo Toppik da circa 3 anni e da quando l'ho acquistato sono subito rimasta sorpresa per la sua efficacia! Questo prodotto si applica sui capelli puliti e asciutti, sulle parti dove il diradamento dei capelli è evidente. Queste fibre di cheratina 100% naturali si attaccano ai capelli donando un effetto volumizzante agli stessi e quindi donano l'illusione di avere una folta chioma. Basta applicarne una piccola dose su tutta la parte superiore della testa; bisogna fare attenzione a non sciuparlo, poichè andrebbe perduto e siccome è abbastanza costoso bisogna stare attenti. Dopo l'applicazione, è consigliabile utilizzare una lacca per capelli di buona qualità (io utilizzo Palette di Testanera, fissaggio Forte) oppure lo spray fissativo della stessa marca (Toppik), però la lacca è più economica. Una volta applicato il prodotto e dopo averlo fissato con un'eventuale lacca, il Toppik resisterà fino allo shampoo successivo. Resiste al vento, alla pioggia e anche al sudore. Purtroppo quando ne applico troppo, ne trovo una parte sulla federa del cuscino quando mi alzo la mattina ma si può risolvere questo problema semplicemente applicandone di meno. Dopo che lo avete applicato, non passate il pettine oppure la spazzola, perchè si tratta pur sempre di una polvere che può andar via. Bisogna avere dei piccoli accorgimenti e con un po' di abitudine potrà diventare il vostro alleato di bellezza! Posso confermare che il Toppik è un grande aiuto ANCHE E SOPRATTUTTO dal punto di vista psicologico, quindi se il diradamento di capelli è un problema che vi affligge e che vi rende tristi, allora il Toppik farà al caso vostro! Prima piangevo e mi disperavo ma da 3 anni a questa parte sto meglio psicologicamente gradie al Toppik. Avendo i capelli color biondo cenere/castano chiaro, utilizzo il colore Medium Brown (Castano Medio) ed è perfetto per i miei capelli! Se avete i capelli molto scuri o comunque tendenti al nero, prediligete la nuance Dark Brown, in quanto mi è stato raccontato che il colore Black è molto finto. In conclusione: si applica con facilità, deve essere fissato con una lacca per capelli, resiste alle intemperie (vento, pioggia e sudore), va via con lo shampoo e lo potete applicare tutte le volte che volete! Il flaconcino da 12,5 gr. ha una durata media di 1 mese (se avete un diradamento lieve o modesto). Provatelo e rimarrete entusiasti! Spero che la mia recensione vi sia stata d'aiuto.
