Plug this into your computer/tablet It should show up as some kind of storage device. It has about 0.5 gigs which isn't a lot, but for an audio file, it's plenty. 2. Select the audio file you want to add to the device and drag and drop it into the device If for whatever reason the new file is too large, you can delete the pre-existing files by simply selecting them and deleting them. I did this from the start to make things simpler. The instructions that come with the device don't really make it clear how to select just one audio recording. To make things simple, I just have one recording on the device. 3. After you have the audio file you want on the device, and have safely unpaired/unmounted from your computer/tablet, install the device where you want it. It comes with some plastic mounting hardware, but I used a command strip because it's more apartment friendly. 4. Enjoy! In my video the device plays the opening to the haunted mansion ride. It has a switch on the side for volume and power. All the way to the top is high volume, the middle is low volume, and the bottom is off. It's that simple! Hope this helps 😁

The device is extremely small, but whacks a great punch in terms of sound! It's able to reach very far in terms of detecting motion. Up to 13 ft. In my video, you can barely see where I hid it. I made sure it gets pointed out to you so you can see how far away it was yet I am still able to hear the audio very clearly from where I am standing. If you want to hide it even better, like I did, put some black tape over the red light that turns on when the motion sensor activates. It does not interfere with the function of the device if this light gets covered.

**Q: How do you get it to play more than one song?**
A: We bought ours to be a scream box in our haunted house. We've never used it for more than one recording. I'm sorry I can't answer the question for your needs.

**Q: How loud is this? Will neighbors 20 feet away be able to hear it?**
A: We can hear it 20 feet away in our house.

**Q: Would this work inside a car window pointing out, would it work through the glass?**
A: It isn't going to scare a car thief away if that's what your asking. It took my dumbest dog about 1min to discern that it's not anything worth obeying. So I would father a human figuring it out even faster. Can you hear it through the window eh maybe but probably be hard to hear what it's saying. The speaker is not high quality. I would compare it to someone having you on speaker phone but all you hear is background and static. Also this thing goes off even if there is a change in bought or a shadow so if your car isn't in a dark garage it might go off a lot and it's ran with batteries.

**Q: I formatted the disk, however now even though i have added mp3 files, it does not play anything . Is there anything I have to install after i format?**
A: Please confirm your audio file is not over 4M. Otherwise it will not play.

Ordered 2, one didn’t turn on. When looking up a video on how to download a music file. It suggest a micro usb- don’t waist your money the micro usb fell into the slot. You have to use the cord it comes with to connect to your computer… go to finder and look at location the devise will be called “no name” When downloading music I had to buy the music from Amazon- not Amazon Music and down load a MP3 converter to convert music to MP3 then I had to edit music to only 2 mins as the internal storage does not hold that much. After all of that I would say that I am satisfied with the result.
