I am an engineer with a Non Computer Science/electrical/Electronic engineering degree who has been in software for 25 years. So I just got this book for reference and to slowly start reading..how much I will read I can’t say(I don’t code for a living anymore obviously but purely out of self interest and for building small programs for Stock Market related ML algorithms etc for personal use)..but I wanted to comment about the ‘print quality’. Obviously the Indian edition prints are on low grade paper etc...that’s WHY the price of the books is much less. BUT it has 100% of the same knowledge :).... so pls don’t go by some of the over critical comments regarding the quality of print.

Its a good book for Compiler Design. But I have doubt regarding it been a genuine Pearson book as the hologram is missing and the condition of the front and back cover is not as expected as of a new book.

Delivered in time. Page quality good enough. Became happy see that it's the latest edition, (second edition, Tenth Impression,2018). But there's no hologram of Pearson. Don't know why. It's the case for most of the Pearson books nowadays. Anyways my concern is only about the content, if it's fine everything's fine 😎

This is one of the best books in Compilers. But the publisher has done mindless things to cut cost in this Indian edition. The preface has been removed. The worst thing is the tiny one page content and the strange index. The content in the original book has more than 15 pages of content which is very useful.
