My daugter wears a kids 16. Would an adult small fit her or should I go larger?

I’m not sure how kid sizes run compared to adults. I wear a 12 in adult sizes. I bought a large and it fits good. I would think a small would be ok.

is this a womens large?

I do not know what size is shown in the photograph but I have ordered 5 or 6 different types Rubie's brand costumes including this pirate one and the size chart is very accurate.

Does it come with dress?

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! The Lusty Pirate adult costume includes a budget friendly pirate costume shirt with attached vest, elastic waist pants, belt, and head scarf. The boots and sword accessory are available separately. Have a great day!
