I might use this product a little differently than advertised, but I bought the Alpcour folding stadium seat for a high school state track and field tournament that I cover every year. I take pictures of sporting events and I like to get down on a knee or even sit up against a fence to try to get my best pictures, but of course, that can be uncomfortable. I have since seen other photographers use something similar to the Alpcour folding seat so I bought one and used it for the track meet and it was perfect. The support on the seat is solid, it is easy to fold and unfold and the cushion makes it very comfortable. It's also not that bad to walk around with a strap attached to it. I can say that it has been a good buy for me as a photographer (I can't wait to use it for basketball and volleyball seasons) and I would say that it does the job when/if used on bleachers and other similar situations. It's comfortable, easy to use and just what I needed.

I wasnt sure about this chair. Because it looks funny. But this is light weight, the recline is easy to adjust. It fits the bleachers almost.perfect without being bulky. It's comfy. This chair exceeded my expectation.

Pros: Lightweight, easy to carry, adjustable back, easy to clean Con: Getting up and down from the ground (not a product issue, an old person issue) We used these at Wolf Trap, an outdoor music venue that will not let you use elevated seating on the lawn. These were perfect because the lawn is sloped at Wolf Trap and the adjustable back helped make the lawn seating more comfortable. The material also protected us against the damp ground. They were easy to wipe clean. I appreciated that they were easy to carry and lightweight. Several nearby couples took pictures of them to order for themselves. I wish I had purchased these when my son was still at home-- endless baseball games and swim meets could have been much more comfortable. I think these would be excellent for sitting in bleachers, but so far we have only used them on the ground.

My wife and I are grandparents to a 14-year-old who has been playing football for the past three years and is starting high school football this year, so we spend plenty of time sitting on bleachers. Our old stadium seats were thick and fairly comfortable, but they were heavy and a real pain to fold up. At the end of a game, everyone would start moving down the bleachers while I was still stuck wrestling with the seats, trying to get them collapsed and folded. And since I usually ended up carrying both of them, the weight was another problem. Last year, mine finally broke, so it was time for something new. I ordered one of these Alpcour Folding Stadium Seats to try, and so far I am very impressed with the design. It is extremely easy to open and fold flat for carrying. I can already picture myself at the end of a game folding both seats in just a few seconds, putting the straps over one shoulder, and heading out with everyone else instead of being left behind fighting with the seats. It is also much lighter than our old seats. I liked the first one enough that I have already ordered a second one for my wife, so we should be all set for football season. The seat padding seems fairly thick, although I am curious to see how comfortable it will be after sitting on it for one or two hours. I weigh about 170 pounds, so the real test will be during an actual football game. One thing I noticed is that there is a zipper around the cushion, which appears to allow the cover to be removed for cleaning. It also gave me another idea: if I ever decide I want a little more padding, it looks like I could unzip part of the cover and slide in a thin piece of memory foam. I may never need to do that, but it is nice to know I might have that option. So far, based on the weight, ease of folding, and overall design, I am very happy with this seat. The true comfort test will come once football season starts, but my first impression is very positive.

We used these stadium chairs for a windjammer cruise we went on for 3 days. They are a little bigger than most stadium chairs but if you want support and comfort these were perfect. I have a bad back and can't sit for long periods of time without any sort of support. This made you feel like you were sitting in a chair. The beauty of the product is that it reclines. Not that anyone would truly recline in a stadium seat but it is great in that you can have it slight back from 90degrees so you are not sitting ramrod straight. They are a little bulkier than most seats but when we looked at the other seats people used on our cruise ours was by far the most comfortable.

Great seats! Used them last night and it was much more comfortable to sit in the bleachers! Easy to adjust the back and the carrying strap was good for transport. I wish I hadn’t suffered 3 years on metal bleachers before ordering! I ordered 4 of these for all family members and everyone loved them! One the four arrived slightly damaged - looked like bottom of the box edges did not meet and something poked through the tape and into seat. That one will be returned and another ordered in its place. Update: I still think this is a great seat although not very cushy to sit on. I unzipped the cover from the seat area and ip in two of those foam stadium seats - on top and under the thin foam from the seat. Boy, did that make a BIG difference! I plan on doing that on all of the seats I purchased.

The product works as described but the padding isn’t as cushy as I’d hoped. I don’t plan to be sitting in it for long periods so it will suffice for my needs. But — the packaging was terrible, arrived looking like it had gone thru a war, w/ no padding inside the box, just a sheet of brown paper. Amazing the chair came thru delivery intact!

This sturdy seat is a good value for the money, offering a bit of cushion and especially back support! I had to buy it when my plant manager decided that his dock clerks did not need office chairs and replaced them with hard-seat stools! This is far better than just buying a cushion, and I've found it to be sturdy and fairly easy to transport. It is light weight too.

Reasonably comfortable and straightforward to adjust. It is quite lightweight and fine to carry over the shoulder.
