Great stick for a beginner or a seasoned player
Got it for my son who has been playing for about a year he loves it! I used it the other day and did a break and run! I am pretty impressed. The tip did loosen up but I glued it back on and it’s working great! I would highly recommend!

An impressive cue, a great investment!
Loving it! Initially skeptical at some of the reviews that received warped or bad ones, but knowing the majority liked their's and that this is one of the few designs I liked, I took the risk being open to exchanging up to two times if it came down to it - Luckily I got a perfect item first time without any hassle. Looks great, feels great, and stands out in a room at any place as their basic selections wear more and more by the day. This feels balanced, solid, and plays 100%... Your confidence of shots and playability interest are very high with this in possession. First time out doing a few solo games with a friend and a couple fun 2v2's, was a success and garnered many compliments. Was going to get the Viper Diamond Blue cue stick but it was sadly out of stock for a couple months, so I went with this Elite in black. Overall great choice and once the Viper Diamond Blue is back in stock for my primary, this Elite will be the cue stick for guests/friends with me whom will be stoked to use a nicer one themselves each time!

Almost but not quite.
For the price I really can't be too mad about it. The handle portion is solid, nice and heavy, and well made. The shaft however feels like cheap plastic wood and was warped from the start. It almost felt like you could feel the wood splitting immediately after the first break. As I said I can't be too mad though, for $35, it's a good starter to getting into more serious billiards. From what I could tell most half decent quality cues are between $70-$80 so I just ordered a new shaft for about $45.

Quality cue for a very reasonable price.
I'm a novice pool player so I have no experience with high quality cues, but I've played with a bunch of the cues at my local pool hall and this is so much better. The wrap is very tight and well done; it has a very nice feel to it and it's quite absorbent, giving my sweaty hand a nice firm grip. The shaft of the cue is super smooth and unlaquered on the top half so it's never "sticky". The two halves screw together firmly and easily with no sign of wobble and no bend. I'm sure there are better cues on the market, at much higher prices. This is a fantastic first cue and I would buy it again without a moments hesitation.

Thanks but no thanks.
Took a while to come. When it finally did, played with it maybe twice, and it’s already unraveling. I’m not happy and won’t be purchasing another. Purchased another 2 of the same brand and they came warped. Not sure if this is an Amazon problem or a Viper problem, but I’m pretty ticked off.

Great stick for the price
Pros: I got this stick for my boyfriend as a second stick because I bought him a new case that held two sticks and at the time he only had one stick. He loves it!! He uses it as his break stick & always dropping balls on the break. Medium weight. Con: Only thing I didn’t like was the sticker with barcode at the bottom that I had to pull off… stands out if you leave it on & looks kinda tacky if you don’t get all the leftover gunk off.

Billiard only
It works good for breaking and it is accurate at hitting the pool ball it's not durable and it's not tough but the tip is good at keeping its chalk

A great option when you need a pool butt for an expensive shaft
Let's face it, the important part of a cue is the shaft. I have very expensive carbon fiber shafts in a 5/16 x 18 joint. I purchase these cues because the butt part is very well made, has a linen wrap, and uses adjustable weights. I don't need a fancy looking pool butt and this one works just as well as those on $1,000 cues. Spend your money on a 5/16 x 18 quality shaft, and then buy this for the butt/handle.
