Maybelline New York Snapscara Washable Mascara, Black Cherry, Pack of 1

This mascara has all the qualities that have made Great Lash the go-to mascara for models, celebrities, and women everywhere...but..This Black Cherry color is MAGIC. Brown mascara can look dull, if you can even find it. Black mascara with light hair can look caterpillarish, ageing and fake. If you want a look that is both hip and non-harsh, if you have brown, mahogany, auburn, red, or violet tones in your hair, grab this mascara while the getting is good. I have a fistfull of expensive mascara buying mistakes...keeping them around doesn't really undo the waste of money...so, I'm going to liberate some drawer space and put this mascara there instead. Application is smooth, with a good brush. The tube is squared off, no rolling off the edge of your staging area. Maybelline, please don't take this color away...promote it and include it in your other mascara lines! There's a huge hole in the marketplace for this color and it uniquely fills a need that is out there right now.

It's not smudge proof once it gets wet. Hence it says "washable". So it's not waterproof. The color doesn't stand out like in the picture on the package. My lashes are a dark brown so it looks black on me. I still like it. I'm okay with the color not standing out. It would've been nice if the "cherry" is a little more intense. Maynr someone who has lighter lashes it might stand out more? Just a guess.

I wear contacts and have oily eyelids, and eye makeup is always a problem. I can only wear tubing mascara (everything else melts and smudges) and even that is more trouble than it's usually worth. This Snapscara product is wonderful! Goes on so easy, doesn't stick or smudge; stays put without melting at all; and then comes off easily with warm water. The black cherry color is subtle and makes hazel eyes pop. Low low price is a bonus! I love this product.

Do not buy. This mascara was old and dried up. I scraped some out and it was the consistency of dried clay. I actually rolled it up in a ball. It wouldn't even stick to paper.

The only reason I bought this mascara was because of the color. I guess I was expecting it to be a bit more burgandy. Well, I was expecting anything besides just black, lol. This doesn't even look brownish black. So,if you're looking for a maroonish shade to make green eyes pop, don't bother. And they weren't kidding when they said off in a snap. I got my face wet in the shower and rubbed my eyes and boom! Mascara completely gone. Not even a speck left on my eye lashes. No soap needed. However within 30 minutes of applying the mascara I had flaking. Like, A LOT OF FLAKING. To be honest, I'm surprised there was any mascara left to be wiped off. That said, I'm still giving this product 3 stars because I absolutely LOVE the wand. For this reason alone, I won't be returning this mascara. Personally, I love curved mascara wands and this wand is curved but just differently enough that you get a totally new eyelash effect. It did not provide any volume to my lashes, but it lengthened my lashes to the point that they were touching my eyebrows. Damn near unheard of for my lashes. I am attributing the lash lengthening effect to the amazing wand and not to the crummy mascara formula itself. So, all in all, a worthy purchase for $5 based solely on the wand, especially when one considers the price of buying a specialty single nylon mascara wand.

OK, but seriously, the mascara is a miracle. I can coat all the lashes on both of my eyes with one dip of the wand, it washes off clean with just water, and somehow, did not run when I cried just now (which I was fully anticipating it would). I ordered the Black Cherry color and it is the perfect shade of burgundy to complement a light blond or red head's skin tone. The tube is even clear, which helps you see how much product is left. I am IN LOVE with this mascara. Truly.

I wasn’t thrilled with this. I try out a lot of mascara this was so so I bought it because it was cheap. It was online if you’re in a hurry and need it quickly this will do, but I wouldn’t buy it for something that you need.

Bought this on a whim because I was looking for burgundy mascara and the one I had originally searched wasnt available. So glad it worked out that way because this mascara is my FAVORITE. So easy to remove but somehow doesn’t cause raccoon eyes. You get it wet and then it just pulls right off the lash in big pieces instead of getting muddy. The brush applies well- not too wet not too dry. Color is perfect.

Me gusta el color y mantiene las pestañas arriba. Me gustó el cepillo. No se corre durante el día y se quita solito cuando me baño sin dejar ningún residuo.

Was looking for a mascara with a burgundy tint and thought this would be the ticket. Looks black when you put it on unfortunately. Application is a bit sticky after first coat as well. Wouldn’t buy again.

Super easy to wash off but it is a tad clumpy. I have it in black and the black cherry, black cherry might as well be black as I don't notice any difference. Worth keeping as I love that it is easy to remove with no racoon eyes!

El tono no es el que promete, al aplicarlo es color negro prácticamente, además su duración es corta.
