Easy to install on T posts
I attached T posts to heighten my wood fence by 2 feet. I then attached this plastic poultry wire to it. I did it to try to keep the neighborhood cats, squirrels, possums, raccoons and now urban grey foxes out of our backyard. So far, it seems to mostly work with the squirrels, possums and cats. One raccoon has scaled it. The urban grey foxes donโt try to scale it, but they can easily walk fence lines like a squirrel. So they will scale my neighborsโ fence, walk on top of it, and then jump into our backyard from another location. The foxes hunt and catch small game like mice, rats, and squirrels. I know since Iโve seen it in the foxโs mouth on my ring camera.

Good Lightweight 1-inch Mesh Chicken Wire
This is nice, light, easy to work with chicken wire. It is 20-gauge wire, so even the 150 ft roll is manageable by one person. We have 500 feet of fencing around our garden and orchard. It is 8 ft high and goes 2 feet into the dirt to stop the diggers. It has strands of electrified wire as well. The fence does a good job of keeping out wildlife, from 600lb bull elks, down to diggers like skunks and rabbits. However, the fence of welded wire was not keeping out the various ground squirrels around here (mountains of Arizona) -- they just step over the lowest electric wire and come right through the fence. They took most of the fruit off a couple of trees before I realized I had to secure the bottom 2 feet of the fence. If they have to climb, there's another electric strand they will contact, and the shock will drive them away. So I'm adding this Yardgard "chicken" mesh to the bottom portion of the fence. It has to conform to the existing heavier wire fencing, so it's good that this product is light and flexible. Where required -- where there's a "wow" in the fencing -- I use a pair of needle-nose pliers to tighten the mesh by twisting each 1-inch opening, in a vertical line, until I have taken up the slack. Repeat this process wherever needed. It's important to look at the size of the openings in the mesh. This is 1" octagons. This will stop everything but the smallest field mice. Some similar fencing has openings 2-inches big. That would let in larger rats and so on, so isn't suitable for my purpose. I fasten the chicken wire to the welded wire with 8" nylon zip ties. If you do something similar, buy the best nylon, UV protected zips you can get. I use 8" zips and simply cut off the excess once attached. The wire is galvanized and comes bright silver. This oxidizes and fades over time, so the chicken wire is much less obvious. Good price for 150 feet. Recommended.

Great value for your money.
Extremely good quality and value for the price I'm glad I found this. Easy to use and put on my pens. I love the size of this, I don't use this by itself however because even though it is very durable regular chicken. Wire will not keep predators out of a pen, I always put half inch hardware cloth around the bottom at least 4ft tall of it if you do that you have a very durable and safe pen that most things cannot get into.

Keeps out the deer, keeps in the chickens.
Good product. Does rust a little faster then the more expensive coated wire thatvis available.

Looks great
Awesome to work with. Much easier than typical uncoated chicken wire. Holds it shape without sagging. And more attractive in our garden.

A Crafty, unconventional use (no chickens for me) but good quality and great value.
I was surprised by the huge size of the box this chicken wire came in and the amount on the roll. It was way more than enough for my simple little project I had in mind, although my husband will also be using it to protect his beloved cherry tomatoes from the squirrels outside. Be aware though, the width of the roll is a little skimpy for bigger projects like that though. You may want to go to the next size up. I, on the other hand, am an artsy gal and wanted a really cool looking note board for my art studio to clip sketches and color swatches on to. To buy this kind of thing ready made in Michael's, Wayfair or Home Goods would far exceed the cost of one of these rolls. I was a bit concerned that the 1" hexagon gaps would be a bit too big, but the size turned out just fine. The wire itself also took a bit of effort to get it to behave so I recommend having a pair of gloves, pliers and cutters at the ready. You also want to make sure you roll all of the edges under to avoid scratching yourself, or the wall, in my case. I highly recommend this quality product.

Perfect material for making protective plant cages.
Great weight and stiffness for sturdy plant cages. Cuts easily with wire cutters. Our new landscaping plants required protection from munching rabbits and โplayfulโ squirrels. I make an appropriate size cage and anchor it with landscaping pins. This height was perfect for new hydrangeas and rhododendrons. I sometimes cut it in half to make shorter cages for bedding plants or in the veggie garden. Iโve used this product for years but can no longer find it locally. I was so glad to find it here. Iโve used 3 rolls of it so far this year and will buy more as I need it. It lasts for several years. The green color hides the cages in plain sight. However, I think itโs too expensive to use as a garden enclose.

Stellar performance. Rabbits and Chipmunks finally held back !!!
Really effective solution. Important to make sure that the mesh is at embedded least 5-6 inches into the ground. We did that and also stapled it to the boards of the fence. It kept the rabbits and other animals out of our vegetable garden and our flowers this year and we are eating fresh tomatoes and cucumbers for the first time in the past 4 years :)

Excellent chicken wire.
Used to put a fence around my small pumpkin patch. We have a pomeranian that would likely puck off the small pumpkins.
