That being the screw hole needs to be drilled slightly larger for the original screw used on the discontinued suction cover. Literally a few seconds w/a drill and you're done. Took more time to find the right drill bit than to drill the hole. Our spa is a ~2006 Down East which is a line from Master Spa. I bought one cover to verify they would work. These covers are slightly larger in diameter (5" vs. 4.25") than the original covers but I had plenty of spare room to accommodate. Time to buy 4 more since all the covers are becoming brittle after almost 20 years.

Will work in a Master Spa/Down East with a very simple modification
I can confirm these will work as a replacement for the discontinued ~4.25" Master Spa (Down East) suction cover, with one minor exception. Screw too short, but it still works
The piece fit perfectly snug, so it didn’t really matter that the screw that came with it was way too short. It does it’s job, so that’s good.

Fits 2008 Bullfrog Spa
Given design changes, we could not find suction covers that fit our 2008 Bullfrog spa. Ones available through our dealer required owner modification and were backordered. This worked perfectly and was super easy to install. Make sure the groove on the side is aligned correctly and it will go right on. Ours did come with a screw.

Didn’t come with a screw. I used a #8 x1 inch stainless screw that I had but this should come with a screw.

Excellent replacement for Master Spa LSI 557 Hot Tub
Excellent replacement part for my 20 year old Master Spa Leisure Series spa. Did require some modification for it to fit existing plumbing but simple and quick. I’m a 60 something year young woman and if I can do it you can too.

Covers do not fit
Pool guy just got around to replacing the broken covers and the new ones do not fit. Too late to return. More items sitting in a box unused.

Exact fit. Great product.
Ordered this cover for an old hot tub that’s hard to get parts for. I measured the size and ordered the closest that I could. When the part arrived it looked smaller but when I installed it I was able to get a good fit by tightening down the screw. I did not have to do any modifications to my hot tub inlet port. So relieved to finally replace a cover that had disintegrated over the last year due to age. Great product.

My tub is 20 years old and these are a perfect match, came with a screw but almost missed it in bag.

GREAT PRODUCT WORKS WELL WITH MY OLDER TUB

The cover fit correctly but the it never came with a screw to attach it. I had even asked the vendor about the screw before I purchased it and was promised it came with one. It's a much lighter gray than advertised and the plastic is thin and flimsy. It does the job but I definitely wouldn't purchase it again.
