Karcher Puzzi 100 Carpet Cleaner with Floor and Upholstery tool

The upholstery tool is not well-constructed. Two metal parts are not well-joined together and cannot withstand the normal pressure used when cleaning. (I'm an old lady, not an aggressive forceful cleaner.) I had to duct tape the tool back together. Duct tape works better than the solder or whatever the company used to join the two parts together. Maybe they can put a plastic ring around the joint instead of duct tape. But, duct tape works fine to put the tool back together. You just shouldn't have to duct tape a tool. Another idea would be to make the metal clips actually clip on instead of just position the two hand tool pieces together.

I bought this cleaner because I was desperate! We have always owned a dog but after our last one died about four years ago, I thought we could finally get a light coloured carpet that would not be ruined. So I went ahead and bought another beige carpet for the living room. Alas, about a year later we got another dog and then a couple of months ago we got another. The latest one is the dirtiest dog you could ever wish to meet - a chocolate labrador that is the size of a lion and loves dirt and dirty pudddles but even loves bringing dirt into the house even more than leaving it outside. Hence my desperation. Well this carpet cleaner has been a life saver. I can't afford to keep paying out £1000 for a new carpet every 3-4 years so this was my last hope! I was amazed. Yes, it is a little bulky but the results are fantastic. Its easy to use - so much better than previous domestic cleaners that I have had - just follow the instructions and make sure you use the recommended cleaning tablets and you will wonder how you managed without it. I bought this machine about a month ago and have cleaned almost every carpet in the house with very visible results - my husband thinks I am becoming obsessive about carpet cleaning!!!

Really not happy with the main attachment Ever since I have purchased we have had to use the small attachment as the large one is usless and doesn't attach without falling off and the power ( if any ) isn't strong enough to suck the liquid up ( let alone anything else Lots of money and hasn't been fit for purpose The cable / wire won't keep straight and it as if loves to knot together Now within a year the quality of this item is showing the small hand tool has now broken Constant emails and messages and no one has been in contact or replied to any communication My next step is BBC WATCH DOG DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS

The Puzzi may be more expensive than other models available however it could prove to be better value than cheaper cleaners in the long run. We bought a £90 very well known cleaner from a very well known DIY outlet only to have it steadily fall to pieces over a twelve month period. The Puzzi will only have to last three years for it to have been better value. We have got some of our money back by hiring it out on a few occasions. This machine is well made, cleans very well (better than hiring a GP to do the cleaning if you know what I mean,and is relatively quiet.

Very good product. Cost a lot but worth it for the quality. Very easy to us, a little heavy but can do a good job

This cleaner costs no more than two full professional cleans, and does an equally good (or even better) job. The benefit is that you can use it any time without further cost (except for cleaner tablets). I found it easy to use, and it does not seem to require too much downward pressure to do the job. Having recently acquired a second puppy, we will be making use of it again soon, once she is fully house trained.
