Superior size and quality
These anchovies are perfect. They are large size. The fillet is wide. The taste is truly delicious, not too salty. I would definitely order them again!

Buy Ortiz Anchovies in a Jar. My Experience Was They Sent Me 1 Anchovy in a Can with Mostly Oil
I don't like leaving bad reviews. There was 1 achovy (butterflied) and lots of oil in the can I opened. A sibling had recommended Ortiz canned anchovies and other seafood. Evidently there is a quality control issue for an item that is not that affordable. Maybe it is better to buy it in a jar so you know what you are getting? That 1 anchovy tasted delicious. Basically, I paid for oil that was not that infused by anchovy.

Wonderful in Nicoise salad
Love this product! Tastes great out of the can. I read it’s because they can the tuna and cook it in the sealed can. That keeps it from drying out. So good.

This is my favorite white tuna. If you are not familiar with this type of tuna, this is harvested in the northern coast of Spain, it is a very delicate type of tuna. There is no comparison possible between the typical albacora tuna sold in the USA and this. In addition, Ortiz is one of the best companies producing very high quality products (not only tuna, but also anchovies and much more). I am so happy that we can buy it through Amazon because some stores actually carry it where I live but the price is twice what I am paying in Amazon.

I prefer these on bread spread so thickly with butter that you leave teeth marks when you bite. Try it. Brilliant. A taste sensation.

This is a con.
The price is given on the product as £8.72 (£3.72/100g). As each tin is 47.5g in weight, this would indicate that £8.72 gets you more than one tin, in fact five. The advertised shippng weight and dimensions also indicate five tins. These figures are a complete fabrication, all you get for your £8.72 is one 47.5g tin. A complete rip off.

Shockingly over-priced
I bought this expecting 5 tins of anchovies - expensive but not unreasonable. In the event, it turned out that only one tin was included. Crazy for £9.10. I am seeking a return and refund.
