As a practical matter, I have no range of motion in my neck and upper back. Additionally, I have restricted range in the lower back. The inability to twist and turn impacts driving. I greatly increased side and rear vehicle visibility by spending less than $20 on a blind spot mirror. (Link below.) Still, the mirror didn't address my need to look behind and the side. I heard about a swivel seat so did an Amazon search to see if I could find one. This one came up, along with others. I liked this one the best mostly because of the reviews and the 2" cushion. There is a caveat in the description which informs that it will not fit all vehicle seats. FYI: This swivel seat fits a 2015 Nissin Murano driver's seat perfectly. The gel makes it very comfortable. I love everything about this seat. I am 125 pounds, 5'1" and the seat fits me very well. However, for a larger person it probably would be too small and might be really tight on the back of upper legs. I even tried WD-40 to prolong the inevitable...no dice.
