What it means to almost completely trust the Lord
I really want to learn to be like this man of God. He is such a wonderful example of what it means to completely trust God.I just wish the publishers would put this into Kindle version so I can buy it for my friends and use as a witnessing tool. Also, some other books that are good are Oma Ellis books and Bug and Nona on the go.

An amazing book that changed my life!
The book was written by a Scandinavian Missionary to Korea who relates the many supernatural miracles of provision that happened while he was there. The title is derived from how one bag of rice fed 5-6 families through the famine and ceased to increase only when the famine was over. The Faith and Miracles of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST are sill alive today. Test the spirit of the writer as you read and ask The LORD to show you if he is genuine! Your spirit will bear witness to THE TRUTH being led by THE PEACE of The LORD WITHIN.

Mrs. Phillips
Oman was in South Korea during a famine. The year was 1964. He had a 175 pound bag of rice to sustain him during this time, but he told his servant, "If anyone comes to the back door and asks for rice, give them a half-gallon." Although the Korean servant replied, "I can tell you are foreigners and so foolish.", Oman had heard from God "Share or die." Word got around that Oman had rice, so as you can imagine how many went to his door asking for rice. For seven months during this famine, he gave away 2,700 tons of rice - enough to feed 50,000 people. Like the widow in the Bible whose oil and flour never ran out, so this one bag of rice was never empty. [I Kings 17:8-16] Each time they reached into the bag, they found more rice to give away. Is it logical? No. Are any of God's miracles logical? No. I am so glad that "God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent; has He not said it and will He not do it?" I am glad I, too, serve a big God.

I could not put down this book after I started reading it
This book has transformed the way I think of God, the Bible and Jesus Christ. In the book 'The Rice Miracle', Gosta Oman tells story after story of how God has worked through him as he trusted God. Each story actually happened in Gosta's life and each of them is a display of God's power and love in the life of man.If you know the Bible, there are a few men that really stand out as men how performed miracles and had a heart after God. Moses, Elijha, Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Gosta's experiences demonstate the same works of God in recent years, not thousands of years ago.The book was originally written in Swedish and was translated into English, but the translation was done so well, that I would have not known except that the book mentions it in the inside cover. If you love to hear stories of God working in the lives of people, or if you need encouragement to know that God still works today, or if you are not sure if you beleive in God, this book is for you.
