Made by Heinz according to the packaging and the same as the Heinz Frito that they sold for a time in the UK but was then discontinued despite it being popular. A very good frito. Not only good for Spanish cooking but also ideal for sweeter curry sauces such as tikka masala. It also works great in homemade sweet and sour sauce. The price is reasonable considering it is an import.

Good tomato sauce
The product is very good. My 2YO son really likes it. My spanish mother in law used to send me this tomate frito in Uk, but, as I use it every day, I buy it from here. Just a clarification for those saying it's like a passata but more tasty: passata is simply tomato and it is not a sauce. You make a sauce by adding onion, olive oil and garlic. Tomate frito is a sauce which contains already onion, garlic, oil, salt and sugar.It is handy to add to a variety of things. However, if I have got time, I prefer to make my own sauce, using a passata or tinned tomatoes.
