I need a better rack. I stuck some pokey items and they sort of caused the bag to protrude through the oversized gap in my rack, but the rack is what's wrong here. the narrowness also caused one of the seams to start pulling apart.) The designers seem to have refrained from the use of velcro with the same compulsion of a vegan refusing to eat honey. They are very sleek. very nice. not tall enough to fit a normal size laptop of the current technology era, (not mine, anyway, but that's my problem.) the construction is fabulous. the seams are well fastened. the feel is well balanced. The material is soft and nice. these are elegant panniers, and they are sufficient for carrying into an office where women carry coach purses and men wear ties and everyone has blazers and very important meetings with important people. you know, that sort of thing. it works,at least no one said anything... and they fit my lunch, my books, my knitting sets, my purse items. random stuff I found on the side of the road, my purse, etc....
