This is hard to swallow for me still, even all these years later. The evidence presented here is rather questionable to stay the least, but it obviously will still linger. Why? Because we simply don't know what happened to him in those last few days.This documentary is done fairly well, as it has a very DIY quality about it. The people interviewed are, quite honestly, not reliable, at least to me. They are a bunch of burned out losers, rather trashy people. But then again, Kurt was, we later realized, one of them too. This is all about trashing Courtney. At the time, I was (and still am) a Nirvana fan who wouldn't believe that Kurt was anything but the artist he was. He was many things to all of us, who married Courtney, the source of all of their problems seemed to stem from her. The documentary interviews Courtney's estranged father (who she has not spoken to in years), who has made several attempts to launch his own failed fame attempts through her. Apples don't fall far from the tree, as it seems. An ex boyfriend is interviewed, who accuses Courtney of attempting to achieve fame through him like she would Kurt many years later, says Courtney was just using him as well. It's well known that Courtney was a stripper and a groupie for many bands long before she formed Hole, but she didn't want to acknowledge this as she was attempting to launch her acting career in the late 90s (see the Good Morning America interview nearly thwarted in the beginning).It's now many years later. Courtney has since abandoned that clean image and went back to her old ways, has had her face pulled taut thanks to many plastic surgeries, and now the only media that pays much attention to her is the tabloid media and we really don't care anymore. But, did she murder him or at least drive him to suicide? I think I would certainly consider hurting myself as well if I had to live with her. But, the people that are interviewed (especially that weird scumbag "El Duche") are not the most reliable of sources. This issues raised in this doc are not whether or not Courtney Love is a murderer, but that fact that she intervened when she heard that a documentary was being made on Kurt's life, to the point where his Aunt Mary was not permitted to share even the earliest recording sessions when Kurt was just a teenager. Courtney threatened and cajoled via her lawyers until MTV put pressure on the film maker's financial backers to pull out of the project.Courtney Love is buddies with the head of the ACLU so of course she got to present an award at their special ceremony. She would have had absolutely NO contact with or rubbed elbows with the wealthy in Hollywood or elsewhere were it not for Kurt's money.What does Courtney have to be paranoid about? If she truly has nothing to hide then why refuse interviews, why prevent even Kurt's family from sharing early music sessions recorded at home long before he ever met her and that have no connection to Nirvana? Why squelch the release of this film at the Sundance Film Festival?"Methinks thou protesteth too much." In my opinion, Love is a talentless leech, a narcissistic monster who has a history of violent assaults to get her way and is certainly capable of arranging murder for profit. The recent SPD announcement that Kurt's death was suicide is just more of Courtney Love's propaganda: If the SPD ever went back into the case and did a proper investigation, a lot of heads would roll. She had them in her pocket and played the political game well.My conclusion is that Kurt was murdered. He is developmentally delayed but loves grudge and Kurt;s music. That said, I have also never believed that he killed himself. I mean, he loved- absolutely adored Francis Bean, their baby daughter, and I just can't see him intentionally taking his life and leaving her defenseless with her Mother Courtney Love. I think Courtney is a crazy woman with serious mental issues, and was never a fit mother or even a fit human being. I believe the Washington Police department botched their investigation of his death, and I also believe Courtney either killed Kurt herself or had it done and made it look like suicide. Her personality fits that sick ticket 100 fold !
