Ode to Our Wild Feminine Souls This provocative book invites you to create your own spiritual path based on often-suppressed ancient principles and contemporary practices. Using the elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether) rather than traditional patriarchal hierarchies, this “holy book” is designed to connect each individual to their universal — but often denied — powers. Wild woman Danielle Dulsky takes you deep as she explores and embraces sacred feminine archetypes such as the Mother Goddess, the Crone, and the Maiden. Join her as she guides you to envision and explore a world that enriches and supports your spirit, body, and mind as well as our global community and the Earth. Review: A Radical Battle Roar - When I first began reading The Holy Wild: A Heathen Bible for the Untamed Woman I quickly became enamored with it. Danielle Dulsky’s words are beautifully poetic and strikingly powerful. The book has a feel reminiscent of the work of Clarissa Pinkola Estés (who is one of my favorite Jungian authors) but from the perspective and insight of a modern witch. While written for a female audience, I feel every witch regardless of gender can benefit from the wisdom within these pages. Dulsky guides the reader through poetry, storytelling, rituals, prayers, and spells to uncover and reawaken one’s connection with the divine feminine and find it within themselves. The book is divided into sections based on the four primordial elements that compose reality from an esoteric point of view – Earth, Air, Fire, and Water along with the quintessence of Ether that runs through and unites all elements. As such, Dulsky shares her cosmological view of this divine reality that we’re living within and seemingly uses each element to help the reader re-compose themselves into a holy heathen where battle scars and shadows are as sacred as the brightest light within us. As a witch author, the book is written as a radical battle roar for self-love and feminist empowerment to make magick of one’s own life; a call for authenticity instead of approval; self-sovereignty instead of obedience; deep connection instead of repression and rejection. If that isn’t the heart witchcraft, I’m not sure what is. After reading this book, I’m definitely checking out her previous book Woman Most Wild: Three Keys to Liberating the Witch Within. Review: Spirit food, shadow dancing, and the Feminine firestorms of self-liberation - This is another heart-aching, breath-taking work of wonder by author and witch Danielle Dulsky. The depth and intensity of her piercing prose seems to be an invitation to all who love story, seek self-knowledge and sisterly guidance, and to anyone with courage enough for practicing the hard work of soulful transformation. Part poetry, part story-telling, and part DIY-witchery, this book is a compendium of rituals, spells, prayers, prompts and exercises to help readers look deeper into themselves and this mysterious miracle called Life than they have ever dared look before. Organized in elemental fashion ( Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether ), this otherworldly bible explores the wild holy places that touch us all, including: anger & rage, loneliness & grief, creativity & desire, sensuality & sex, community & individual sovereignty, and so much more. It is captivating, filled with beauty and wisdom, and a pleasure to work through and read. Highly recommended for dreamers & doers alike!

Written by a Witches Witch, This Book Will Rock Your Magical Life!
First Class Witchery! Daniel Dulskys' book takes you on a brilliant Red Thread Journey through the Elementals via sub-chapters on Verses (lovelovelove), Rituals & Magick, all of which beckons the Witch more fully unto herself and into the Deep Well of the Feminine Divine. The Feminist in me, also loves that she makes liberal use of Naming, Looking, Reclaiming and Re-visioning as well! There are Goddesses and Archetypes to work with, each with a Feminist re-visioning and retelling which will having you see the world differently. The accompanying exercises are compelling, and you won't stop thinking about them till you do them. (I did them ALL -something I am rarely motivated to do!) As a seasoned Witch, I pick up these witchery books & never expect much, but this one is different. The prompts are very inspired & obviously written by someone who knows what she is doing. The activities are well thought out and experiential You will FEEL the many many women who have done this before :). It definitely sparks one owns imagination in ways that go well off the page! As an Adept, you'll know exactly what to do with these ideas, and how to use it to take off- As a beginner, you will be in for one heck of a deep dive! Get the book!

The author and writing are fantastic.
I just received this book and haven't had time to read it. I am sure there will be a 5 star review after I get started as I love the energy of Danielle Dulsky and the chapter headings look very enticing. 4 stars was given due to the book being bent on the front cover (so much so that it has a heavy crease and could easily be torn off). I paid for a new book and got....well...a slightly worn book. I will give another review after I get into this luscious reading.

Reclaim your Holy Self and Walk your Wild Path
Danielle Dulsky’s writing speaks to the part of my Soul that has been shunned by society’s obsession with progress and perfection. Her words touch the magic maker within me that has stayed hidden for fear of being seen in her true glory, for fear of making a mistake, or worse.. for fear of being persecuted for being who I am. Anyone who is looking to reconnect with the energy of the wild, divine feminine will find a thread to follow within the pages of Danielle’s latest literary offering to the magical world. The Holy Wild : A Heathen Bible for The Untamed Woman is not just a book for wild women. This book speaks to the wildish parts in every single one of us. Every page drips with empowerment, inspiration and intention for us to reclaim and rewrite our own stories. Danielle shares with us an elemental exploration of what crafting your own, authentic spiritual path looks like. She give us the permission that we have been too afraid to give ourselves: To be True to ourselves. To be of the Earth, of the Water, of the Air, of the Fire and of the Ether. To be Wild. And to be Holy. If your heart has been called to expand and contract with the Moon, if the woods whisper to you, and you hum hymns to the rejected Goddesses, then this Book will be a nurturing cup of tea for your magical Soul.

Thought provoking, insightful, inspirational offerings.
I have the pleasure of being a yoga student of the author. Much like her classes, this book is an invite to go on a journey within yourself and use creative writing & art as a medium and develop personal spiritual practices based on Dulsky’s guidance. I anxiously awaited the turn of each page to see how I could be enlightened and led to creative work through my digging of my lost feminine along with that of the Worlds’. Dulsky accomplishes explanation, with out heavy finger-pointing blame, of the lost feminine in our society structures. She creates an invitation to mythwork and practices offering wiggle room to claim a name for yourself (or not, as she repeatedly states that you are unique). The Holy Wild takes you on a head-first deep dive into nature’s Holy Wild elements while revealing the secrets of yourself, to yourself, spreading out into the world and the Ether. Nature is our beacon home. Highly recommended! Let this provocative Creatrix entice you! My artwork in the above photos were led through Dulsky’s ‘The Holy Wild’. I very much utilized the highlighting & notes features of the Kindle Fire to copy & paste prompts in the mythwork. It was ideal for instantly capturing my thoughts as I read and helpful to return to and print out.

this is an actual working manual of how to get out of your old life and embrace your authentic one
In her book,”The Holy Wild, A Heathen Bible for the Untamed Woman,” Danielle Dulsky has accomplished a wondrous feat. She has formed an actual working manual for any woman ready to discard her old life she has outgrown and is ready to live an authentic life true of her current desires and needs. It has shaken me to my bones more times than I count as I, myself, am in that phase of life, having outgrown my job and the need to oblige to family expectations. I believe this book comes at a time when many women find themselves in similar places. Danielle somehow includes all of us and invites us into a journey of our own making. We understand the true light (and dark) of the Goddesses and ourselves. We see how we too are goddesses because of what is already in us, as we relate to their stories. And, we find the story within ourselves that we never knew was there, through the writing prompts she shares. There are powerful rituals to cement phases of our journeys deep within our bodies, because without feeling it in our bodies, sometimes it doesn’t seem real. This book can be used as a guide for years to come at various stages of a woman’s life and truly is a miracle.

Geschwafel
