one of my favorites
Wiersbe does a fine job of laying out basic principles for those new to ministry (both professional and laity)… and it serves as a good refresher for those who have years of experience behind them, too. Worth reading repeatedly.

On Being A Servant of God
I have always considered the author one of the more prominent evangelical writers of our time. Any of his books are worth reading. I highly recommend this one. Charles c. McCulloughPH.D

The BEST!!!
This is one of my 'go to' books that I use like a devotional. God is so great to be able to turn us to Scripture and to resources such as this to uplift us, turn our eyes heavenward and look to the One who empowers us to love one another. Servanthood is a gift of God, not something that comes 'naturally.' Because the heart deceives and the flesh pulls, and because the enemy rages, a daily dose of hearing the heart of God on how I am to interact with others is enriching--always, necessary--always, and God-breathed--always! There have been times when I have been discouraged that I have opened this book and turned to the exact page that addresses my source of discouragement and gets me back on track. Cannot recommend enough!

Excellent, thought provoking, affirming
Warren Wiersbe can capture in a sentence ideas worth pondering. Each of the 30 readings in this book contain multiple underlinings worth thoughtful consideration and even discussion with a close friend.Excellent, thought provoking, affirmingWiersbe doesn't disappoint, again.

This we bought for a friend, this was my first book I had to read for Bible College and all these years later I still refer back to it

New insights every time I read it
I’ve owned this book for over 10 years. Other than the Bible, this is the only book I’ve read multiple times and the only book I find new insight in every time i read it. I bought it as a lay person and now enjoy it as a pastor.

titles of every chapter were missing
I m very disappointed with the printing of the book, as I have ordered so many books from Amazon and I have never found a need to return it but this time the titles were missing from the book which makes it not understandable at all.
