Everything you expect for surplus rifle sling

I do not like this sling. First of all it did not come ready to attach right out of the package. I had to figure out how to set it up before I put it on with no directions (which was not how it was pictured ). After that I had to muscle the looped end through the ring which was a very tight fit.The “leather” feels more like vinyl and the sling itself isn’t long enough to let any more than 6-8 inches of slack out in total.

My m91/30 rifle variant was way too long to accommodate the length of sling.The buckle was too small and hard to slip in the loops and adjust.If you have a carbine variant rifle, this may work for you...Spend money on something better if you can...

This sling is too short for a 91/30 but will work on an m44. The quality is not as robust as an original. Feels a little cheap but doesn’t look like it would fall apart under normal circumstances. The material feels synthetic from the fake leather to the nylon/cotton blend webbing. Even the metal feels annd appears inferior to an original. Originals are of course leather reinforced with cotton webbing. So if you’re a purest or want something robust just spring the extra $5-10 on an original while you can.

Good sling but received one that was a different color than display, annoying to set up

This is a very crude and desperate design. The straps are cheap super thin leather and the buckles are too big you can't tighten them properly. The way the strap fits is sloppy. I don't like it at all.

The sling is to short for full size m44 or full sized rifle. This sling probably is for the mosin nagant reproduction in .22 cal.
